Hi how do I set the torque to be higher, because when it's windy the gate will not close fully? Also how do I set the timer on the gate to stay open for 45 seconds before it closes? I had to do a reset the other day because I wanted to erase the code er35. Thank you
For the Torque you want to go into the Parameters menu. There are 4 different torques you would need to adjust accordingly.... Op.Force, Cls.Force, Op.Slowd.Force, and Cls.Slowd.Force. Make Sure TCA is "ON" or "1" in the Logic menu, and then make sure that TCA is set to "45" in the parameters menu. If you have any more questions please feel free to reach us at Tech@BFT-USA.com
You will just need to remove the solar wiring and connect the 240V to 24V transformer. I'm pretty sure the transformer is still there. Most people just disconnect the transformer and leave it attached whet they are wiring up the solar system. If you need more details please write us at Tech@BFT-USA.com.
I have a problem with the photocells on the ares ultra a 1500 model, the photocells are connected with 4 wires, which means power to both and the contact between ports 70 and 72. in the logic menu safe 1 is set to 4. the door still disconnects when you walk over it and I need them to open automatically without interrupting. the craziest thing is that when I cross 70,72, the photocell still reacts, interrupting as I pass over it. how to solve this very frustrating problem. after all, the door blocks and reports errors er 01,02,03,3h .horribly frustrating

Great question. While AR and AC both turn on the automatic close timer and step by step movement with your remote control, AC takes it a little further and also turns on "pre-alarm" (where there is a three second gap in activation after you push the button so it can flash lights letting people know the gate is about to open) and turns on block impulse while opening (that's basically not allowing an impatient person to push the button over and over and over again trying to get the gate open and just locking the gate out from getting open and close commands back to back). All of which can be turned on an off manually in the main menu. AR and AC are just quick presets but can be changed manually if needed.
BFT program remote to Deimos/Ares Pedestrian mode on ultra with merak bard i have programmed the second channel and this is ok . but when i try this the gate does not go to pedestrian. I only hear a click and gate does not respond. I checked everything in parameters and logic and they are correct. what could this be?
Looks like you missed the part in the video that says "To make sure that NONE of the "AUX's" in the "LOGIC" menu are set to channel 2 (000). Normally one of the AUX's is set to 000 by default so you will have to manually go in there and make sure none of them say 000.
Not 100 percent sure what you are asking for but its possible that you need to go to the "logic" menu and change the "Step by step" to "4-Step -Logic"......
