Eazy-E, born Eric Wright, passed away on March 26, 1995, before the 1995 Source Awards took place on August 3 of the same year. At the awards show, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, artists who were greatly influenced and closely mentored by Eazy-E, paid tribute to him with a touching performance to honor his lasting legacy and memory.

I wasn’t really into Eiht’s music until like 94 and I was listening to Quik since early 91 when Quik is the Name dropped.
