BLM have a niche to target racial killings injustice from those with power. It's hard to get injustice from controversial police killings especially when no noise is made and things get swept under the rug especially before camera and social media. Keep in mind There are many niche groups and local groups out there and yes local activist groups has rallied locally against guns and crimes as well. Her situation from gang shooting is sad and all too real. Gangs is not cool and should not be glorified. Also you can do your part find an organization or group to target and reach out. BLM is not the only source and the inner city has a wide range of issues to tackle. If BLM or or groups don't protest or highlight police brutality then should folks stay silent?
