Have you ever lived with rats and roaches, had the lights cut off at your place, received eviction notices, dealt with abuse, heard gunshots every night, saw people get shot, shared a tiny living space with multiple people, witnessed domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assaults, been bullied or verbally abused on an almost daily basis?
