Nimrat & Shobhita has kind of maturity in understanding the character of film as an actor not as an audience. Nimrat gave good explanation. You don't have to agree with character you are acting. Thats ok to have different opinions wether it is good or bad
If Vanga would have gone to them to cast for Kriti dimri role they would have something else to say abt the movie 🤪 the interviewer should have asked them wether they would have accepted Zoya role from Animal movie if given chance 🙏
This host really have some grudge against Animal. Bringing it up on every roundtable and then telling everyone that it is hugely misogynistic and he didn't like it at all. Then why even bring it up dude🤦. Also, this glorifying argument is the most stupid one I have seen for this film. The protagonist loses everything in the end but people want him to die only so that it is fair😂. If you can't take films for what they are, how are you guys even in the same business??Only Nimrat and Shobita are sensible on this one

I’m so glad these actresses are being appreciated. They are way better than Ananya, Sara, Janvi etc. I hope they consistently get great roles and get acknowledged for it. Also Tripti Dimri and Tara Sutaria deserve to get more roles. They are beautiful stars but the nepo gang keeps pushing those untalented nepo kids on us. It’s very annoying! Tripti is in DCA talent agency but they are absolutely sabotaging her career while bad actresses like Ananya and Sara are constantly getting movie after movie and embarassing themselves 🙄

WOW !! Such fab actresses and all of them speak so well. Better than getting some Sara ali khan type. Even kareena i saw on other tables, can't speak. these girls are amazing
Domestic violence in ANIMAL? Yeah I remember Geetanjali slapping Ranvijay 3-4 times in the movie, even on the evening of Karwa Chauth. Balbir Singh slapping Ranvijay throughout the film. Reet crying and beating Ranvijay when he confesses that he murdered her husband. Nowhere in the film I saw Ranvijay beating anybody in his family, with the bra strap thing also being an expression of the urge to irritate his wife to get a reaction out of her. Idk why do women think that they can raise their hands on men even though they are physically weaker, is it their way of fighting?
@@anwi198 a character can do whatever the hell it wants to, they all are fictional people created by the same brain. All these characters exist in a world where the stakes are high and everything hanging at an extreme edge. Thats where the drama is created. So you picking up some little thing from the whole thing, cooking up your theory around it, and bashing it left right and centre is not called film criticism.
The movie was literally about a man who is a beast or ANIMAL by nature and how he goes to extreme lengths slowly and slowly as the movie progresses. Ofcourse it is meant to trigger you because such characters dont exist around us. Noone is ggonna be inspired to do domeatic violence (which wasnt even there as Rashmika slapped him as far as i saw but noone would talk abt it) or do 200 murders because Ranbir did it, then that person is already mental enough to do that without the film

28:06 - Huge L by "Saiyami K" i don't see misogyny in the film also the director portrayed that Ranbir's toxic behavior would eventually lead to him losing his father and wife, leaving him in the end. Furthermore, her taste in cinema speaks for itself, since she has not explored much of the cinema world. 29:08 - "Karishma T" queen of hippocracy, why did she choose the role in Sanju and Grand masti if she is so concerned about films influencing society? 30:00 - "Sobhita Dhulipala" cannot deny the toxicity she displayed on "Made in Heaven." Had she said anything toxic about Ranbir's character, it would be contradicting, as her role (Tara) was 10 times more toxic than Ranbir's. 32:57 - Nimrat being the one who did all sort of roles in her life knows and understands the cinema, she had the most mature answers. She's been doing all sort of movies and short films and understands the need of cinema and how to set boundaries with it. And i like how she said she liked the movie despite everyone had different takes.
@@anwi198 1) Glorying immoral behaviour in the name of being extremely career focused, strong and independent. 2) Seducing already engaged boss and records the act, forces her to marry her. Nonetheless her husband cheats on her (toxic) and they file for divorce, where tara comes into relationship with another guy but being in relationship with the new guy , she gets physical with her ex husband to get the house in alimony. 3) Tara justifies her cheating just like "Arjun ready" and goes to other women and tells how to become gold digger. As Adil cheated on Tara and Tara cheated on Adil, the makers should have portrayed something which could influence society, like true feminism, however they chose to go down a different path that revealed the true characteristics of Tara. S1 was good, Karan and Mehar's portrayals are vivid and show how lgbtq people should be portrayed.
@calib3r403 1. I dunno what immoral behavior ur talking about so l can't say anything 2. She was taught to do that. She was brought up saying that you have to find a rich man and then only you can become successful or happy. She was literally sent to classes just to make her seductive and high class...you can't blame that on Tara when that was how she was brought up as a child 3. I don't glorify cheating at all, and what Tara did is wrong ofc, but it was just a reaction to her husband literally impregnating her best friend, and she was really hurt by that so she decided to get back at him. Although l know she shouldn't have done it, I just think it's a reasonable reaction Tara is not perfect, and it's her for her to be perfect bc of the childhood she has had and the betrayal that she faced. That's why l understand her and like her although l don't support all her actions
What are you smoking? Tara wasn't killing people. She also lost her the guy who truly loved her and was never glorified. But you are too sexist to understand that 🤡

29:22 Karishma Tanna's character cheats on Vicky Kaushal's character in 'Sanju' and has sex with his friend (Ranbir's character, that is, Sanjay Dutt). Although the film is a biopic, this incident was in all likelihood made up for the film. This scene is treated as comedy in the film. Didn't she have a problem with infidelity being normalized/treated as comedy in the film? Wasn't she concerned about how this would influence some impressionable viewers? The truth is that she, or the other two actresses who spoke about the filmmakers' responsibility, would have happily accepted the role played by Rashmika or Tripti Dimri if they had been offered it.
Do you have something against Animal or Venga or is it Superstar Ranbir????why u guys keep on bringing up Animal in every interview?? Negativity attached to it. It’s just a movie. Chill. Nimrat gave the best answer about Animal
Even if he has something against them, he has every right to voice his opinion. Like y'all are speaking for the film. Constructive criticism should be welcomed. Art is subjective. We are not speaking anything personal on anyone. And also the people who say that it is just a film. Why y'all are hating it? Honey peach, disliking something & hating something are different things. We dislike Animal, not hate. The people who are shouting now with 'see films as films' are the same people who write #boycottbollywood on social media cause a certain film has disrupted their "religious belief". So, I would say to those hypocritical raggedy ass 🦝 in the words of Queen Bey, Ms. Beyoncé, "don't just preach, take your own advice".

About the discussion on animal movie,The man is shown helpless in the end. Father dying who he is obsessed with, wife and children leaving, no shoulder to cry on, nobody from the family, he hugs Shakti Kapoor and cries. Where's the glorification? He is shown miserable in the end because of his actions. When he slits Bobby's throat, nobody in the crowd cheered, and i have seen animal 2 times in packed theatre. He comes back to his home chest soaked in blood that he's done it but everyone is looking at him in horror. Where's the glorification again? You guys just have to bash a film for the sake of it. Watch closely if u really want to talk about the film.
Saiyami claimed that one of the women cried upon watching the movie Animal. But how can she say that cinema influences the audience? Sometimes, movies merely reflect the reality of society. The reason that women cry is that they see their own experiences of domestic violence reflected in the animal characters on screen."Sometimes, actresses give such a dumb explanation that it becomes difficult to understand. Do they live in a bubble? These things happen in most relationships.
No questions on their craft diminishes the whole point of doing yet another roundtable - please ask more relevant questions concerning acting and less with movie economics.
With respect to Animal the movie and Kabir Singh- just stop for a sec and see that the country is watching ART. Art can have any form and is free to express. It can be calm, tame or gore. For a sec, change the thought and try to be more factual- gore art, a genre that involves depicting graphic and often disturbing scenes, is a form of artistic expression that may not necessarily reflect the artist's mental state. So definitely what Nimrat is saying making a lot of sense, if you go and watch a film of that calibre, you are able to pay that much money- you go with a certain amount of ability to understand that content presented to you. You should be able to get entertained and get out of there just like you read a novel or an article or a comic, get entertained and get out of there!
Saiyami gets it and so glad she spoke out ❤ However, I fully understand why Nimrat and Shobhita were being diplomatic. They still have to work alongside those people in the industry and have egos and relationships to manage. It's a tough spot to be in for anyone. Saiyami and Karishma are gutsy for calling it what it is.
Lol. Only sensible answer is from nimrat. Please go watch some sensible content like four more shots.. Those shows are good for society where every woman cheats on her partner. I am glad animal rattled all you liberal snow flakes.
ur right they have right to voice their opinion but openly accept na that all re hypocrite These kind of people who talk against animal are actually those who enjoyed same tone in mirzapur, gangs of wasyeepur , sacred games Bcoz those movie don't influence youth and people only animal influence kya logic hey loog ka aaj kal??😂😂😂
Why people say that movies have a influence on the society I don't get it Yes for maybe it has a influence on a vulnerable human being for day or 2 day , but after that people go on with their life and nobody gives a fuck about character morality. People just want to enjoy the film and go to their home and sleep

Please stop bitching and crtiticizing animal ....Its enough, both the host and the guest actresses, Nimrat still had best answer...Its a genre gore , Slasher, A rated-- people all are seeing such films in hollywood or korean genre daily, and in indian cinema bashing it..That is Sandeep Vanga style, its complex..
I wish actresses would speak out their minds and not in a diplomatic way. If they like something or dislike it say it and stand by it. Does not sound vogue to say my opinions keep changing.
These is a strategic way to bash Sandeep ready Vanga. Hirani showed a real life story Sanju where the lead brags about sleeping with 350’womennin front of his wife, puts the toilet seat cover around girls neck. Imagine if vanga had created those scenes
Stop discussing Animal ! I know it gives you more views. But don’t do it anymore as you(host) don’t like it naaa. Keep your mind stable. It might affect your mental health.
Animal movie is a really great piece of art but the fact that it portray Women in the sense it was not needed infact it was really glorified no offence to film but in a country like India where we have 2 religion Cricket and Bollywood people just follow what Bollywood says and it is in reasearch paper's as well

Thankyou Rohit sir for asking about animal , that chutiya movie deserves to be discussed about!😂 P.S. - Also agree with Saiyami kher opinion about the film ( she was spot on about the movie , thankyou SAIYAMI for saying what it is & articulating it perfectly with no pretense ! Love her !👏) as well as Nimrat kaur too when she said that she enjoyed in bits ! The movie was entertaining & engaging too in certain parts with good BG score & music accompanied by good performances of actors ( except the cringe Rashmika 😂) but overall the core of the movie for gloryfying a particular problematic character was not cool ! But yes tbh the movie was not boring if you don't obviously get inspired by these type of characters ! Enjoy the movie & leave it there ! @@sarcasticsree I mean where was the glorification? I mean 2nd half is literally about his character spiralling downward, physically morally ethically in every possible way. I remember him literally losing his hearing and sense of touch. Him losing his wife because he cheated. Him losing his father despite doing so much violence. Abrar's whole clan is literally after his family. He is stripped of every ounce of sympathy you can have for him. He literally promised that he will never betray her and he ends up betraying her. There is literally consequence for everything in the film thats done by him. I dont know what people are crying about. It did not glorify violence anywhere. He was shown as protective force in the first half but was shown as abusive or distructive force in the second half. He in his obsession was falling downward morally continuously in the second half. There was no glorification. But only admiration for Ranbir Kapoor who played the dark character so well.
