Kudremukha National Park is a must visit during the monsoon season. The open ghat section and the panoramic landscape make it a perfect destination during the rains. There is absolutely no cellphone coverage in this area and it is the best way to unwind yourself. There is a backwater in the boundaries of the resort and it is a great way to relax your nerves. Monsoon in the western ghats mean leeches are on the prowl, however if you befriend these tiny creatures and know that it is natural to have a few leech bites during this season, you will thoroughly enjoy the experience.
