I am a Christian. I listen to this song every morning. It feels like it is coming from the Hindu temple I used to hear, when I grew up in India. Such a spiritual, beautiful lyrics and familiar positive song by this beautiful little girl. How much voice control it needs to sing this song. Thank you to the Teacher (Guru) as well. Yeah, enough of hindus being so happy of NOT UNDERSTANDING THE language and stating it as an achievement. I think it is only hindus in the modern world who can count stupidity as an achievement. Divine voice and extraordinary song composition by great Purandara Dasa! Purandara lived in 15th century in Karnataka and started as a very rich greedy diamond merchant. A divine incident changed his life and he left all riches to become a devotee of Lord Krishna. He’s believed to have composed over 475,000 songs mostly in Kannada and some in Sanskrit. He is widely considered as the pitamaha or grand father of carnatic music. Famous Hindustani classical singer Thansen’s guru Haridas was a student of Purandara!

I completely agree. It is so, so beautiful, even though I don't speak Kannada. Of course, we can catch many Sanskrit words, and of course the common Sanatan Dharma that we all follow.
