I wish mere kids jo abhi 9 n5ke hai dono wo abhi se amritvela sambhale bahot mane or samjhane par wo uth bhi jaate hai baithe baithe si so te rahte hai what 2do plz help
Thank you for the video I love how the simran is done. I took Amrit this year and April and had a question about Amirtvela. I wake up at 4:30am and it takes me a hour and ten minutes to complete my Nitnem so I go past 6am is that ok? Also sometimes because of work or my kids soccer practice I do not get to bed until 9:30-9:45pm and those days I am really tired and feel I am not as focused when I do my Nitnem. I needed some guidance what to do and I do not want to make a mistake. I ask people at the Gudwara but get so many different answers and I see that you guys are devoted to Sikhi and true Gurmuks so I wanted to see what advice you can give me
Manpreet ji, Like your name says: Man Preet, with true Preet in your heart whatever you do is accepted in His Court. Do your best. The only mistake one can make is leave this Preet and resort to other pastimes. Your own pure heart is your best guide as God dwells there.. What time you finish makes no difference., true and earnest Love is what Pleases our Guru. ✨🙏✨
hi Manpreet, i would want to tell you about this man my grandmother told me about when i wanted to know the importance of Ardaas and why do we keep a count of baani recitals because Kabir ji said- Kyu yaad karuun main usse gin kar jo behisaab deta hai. meaning why should i remember the almighty by keeping a count who gives me everything endlessly. My grandmother told me about a man who used to go and sit in a gurudwara near our house and used to come after 4-5 hours. My grandmother used to ask him that how many times was he able to recite Gurbani? He used to say - 4 verses of Sukhmani sahib. He used to take 4 hours to recite 4 verses of sukhmani sahib and there are people who take 1 hour to recite Sukhmani sahib. So it is not about doing it in a right way or incorrectly , i think it is about understanding gurbani more than reciting it for the sake of reciting it.
you must optimise, for instance take a nap in the middle of the day, or eat while on the move, or move something around in your life so you have time to do your prayers, its not as easy as saying just do it and it will be fine, do not alter your sleep pattern under any circumstance, otherwise you will feel tired in the morning and you will not have the full effect of the prayer, it takes absolute discipline without any compromise, to taste the true amrit. you must also understand the khata of what you are reading, this includes the background, otherwise you will not get the root meaning that, the Gurus intended. and most of all do not pay attention to public opinion, place your head in your hands and give your head to the guru, whole hardheartedly. Only then will you see the Sat
it's okay to go past 6 am. Amritvela just isn't in the morning, it can be at evening also. Do Rehras Sahib in the evening. Still do it even if you are not into it, it still helps. Ask in ardas for hunger for gurbani. Congrats for Amrit and doing bani, it's a struggle for most of us to walk guru ji path. Day at a time, shabad at a time, repeating waheguru at a time.
