Its the magic of the name "GOBINDAM" , the name of KRISHNA ! Its the one that has got power to conquer hearts and souls and liberate one from this vicious cycle of birth and death and tale one back to unite with Krishna himself , one just needs to have a go at these . Maya initially would resist and will cause one to divert but when one is determined and committed , its this nector (Harinaam - Krishna's name) that awaits ones soul .
amazing i never knew that a hymn can sound so awesome and soulful with guitars, keyboard and a sax... simply sublime... the vocals are just surreal, can't think of a more apt rendition of Bhaja Govindam in fusion form..
It's indeed a great attempt to make the fusion. Similarly, the main singer who keeps the track is hats off while the keys and guitar are out of the box with other notes from the main tune. They have perfectly made the blend of Carnatic classical with a jazz fusion
What we don't usually get to see is the union of old and new generations. Each brings out it's own grace. And when that happens the magic begins...i have been swayed by this alluring performance.. Beauty beyond words can express. I would love to see more such amalgamation..please suggest if you know any. Be happy!!
Usually when popular tunes sung by M.S Subbalakshmi and other top musicians is presented in an un conventional tune it's rarely up to he mark. But this is a master piece. very melodiously tuned, directed and rendered very well. Hats off to you guys
Hi kappa TV... saw mixed responses about Krishna Kumar and his way of singing. I really enjoyed all of his songs. But curious to know more about him like - who / what is he ? Is he a genius singer with great knowledge on classical music.. (i think so) ?
Franz Berger unfortunately the matter of spirituality is highly individual, you have to experience your self to see if its true or not, no one can show you proof, even if some one showed you, you don’t have to believe it! Call it hipnoticing, placebo, superstition, myths, pseudoscience, black science, engineering, scientific, logical, illogical, good, bad ......e.t.c All I can say is THIS SHIT WORKS ✅
@Franz Berger Yes He saved me many times. No need to demonstrate anything. He is not a puppet for your showing off. God's not cheap! If you want to know, please.. there is a lot of literature. Get to know Him, find Him, seek Him out. Don't pass on responsibility! Do it yourself! Please, there is a lot of literature, Bhagavad Gita As It Is, Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu.. lots of literature. Please, help yourself Sir. Don't be lazy.
dandavat en mi casa anterior me prohibieran ler el c.c. y cantar el santo nombre, la musica que escuchava no le paresio tambogo. muchos saludos y abrasos deste suizapeor
+Ena Castilla he is worshiping lord #krishna.. ... meaning of full manthraa HAJA GOVINDAM, BHAJA GOVINDAM GOVINDAM BHAJA MUDHAMATE SAMPRAAPTE SANNIHITE KALE NA HI NA HI RAKSHATI DUKRINKARANE Seek Govinda! Seek Govinda! Seek Govinda! Oh ignoramus, at the time of death the rules of grammer, which you are trying to cram and master, will not be able to rescue you at all. (Grammer rules mean all secular knowledge and earthly acquistitions. Mudhamati means a materialist, wholely worldly-minded, who does not believe in God or the spiritual entity that is in man) Verse 2: ~~~~~~ MOODHA JAHEEHI DHANAAGAMATRISHNAAM KURU SADBUDHIM MANASI VITRISHNAAM YALLABHASE NIJAKARMOPAATHAM VITHAM TENA VINODAYA CHITHAM (refrain from Verse 1 to be sung after every verse...BHAJA GOVINDAM, BHAJA GOVINDAM..........) Oh, Fool! give up your insatiable desire for earthly possessions; be sensible and develop serenity and contentment. Be satisfied and happy with whatever you may earn by the sweat of your brow and whatever has destiny marked for your lot. Verse 3: ~~~~~~ NAAREE STHANABHARA NABHEEDESAM DHRISHTWA MAA GAA MOHAVESAM YETAN MAAMSAVASAADI VIKAARAM MANASI VICHINTHAYA VAARAM VAARAM Enticed by the physical glamour of a woman, do not lose your senses; the body is nothing but a conglomeration of flesh, do not forget this any time. Verse 4: ~~~~~~ NALINEEDALAGATHA JALAMATITHARALAM TADWAJJEEVITAMATHISHAYA CHAPALAM VIDDHI VYADHYABHIMAANAGRASTAM LOKAM SHOKAHATAM CHA SAMASTHAM The water droplet on the lotus leaf is tremulous and unsteady. So too is life which is as uncertain. Know the body to be in the claws of disease, which may swallow it at any moment. Life is ultimately nothing but worry, misery and grief.
Seek God, Seek God, Seek God. Oh Fool! when the appointed time comes(death), grammar rules surely will not save you... Actually its warning the people to seek God... and ignore worldly pleasures !!!
Music is very good but the singer's voice is too-well-matured to get in sync with the melodies of the accompaniments. The singing should have been done by a young voice. I have no prejudice against seniors but here it simply did not match. Sorry for being straight forward. However, you guys are one of the best bands. Pranams to you all.
Those jazz and fusion fans who do not understand the prayer could say the same about self-indulgent singers (the Carnatic style easily lends itself to this critique, even with the consummate masters)- yet they might just derive spiritual benefit simply by hearing the Holy Names because they listened to this only for the music.
Do you know what the hymn says in the end? Take Govindas Name Take Govindas Name When The Time Comes Your Grammar Rules won't save You... I think the pronunciation is not a problem and it's spirit is beautiful.
Manikanta reddy Hymns are Sanskrit ..it sound the meaning for example Gayathri mantra ..it says Diyo yo NAHA prajothayat .. many use it like diyo yo NA prajothayat..Na means DONT and NAHA means WE/ US so you make it negative saying Dont energise for ENERGISE US !! you can have spirit or what ever it is ..This singer is best fit for roadside !!!
Dudes need to eat food. They are remain hungry, and it shows in their faces and music. Either that, or they have not seen a restroom in a long while. Perhaps they are dehydrated. Or is it the relief of a long-drawn out fever breaking? In any case, some medical attention is urgently needed.
U have enough to eat so keep eating dats what for you came into this world. U can't feel an inch near to almighty as u are completely indulge in sansaric moh maya
Since ABSOLUTELY nobody ACTUALLY knows what "correct" pronunciation of Sanskrit is unless they were alive AT LEAST before Alexanders' incursion 2400 years ago, I'd say you don't know what you're talking about.
dude, they are not wannabe musicians. SPEAK ONLY IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ... They are already established musicians... SAD MAN.... wanabe musicians it seems. KEEP COOL AND LISTEN
terrible,, he use more of nasal singing eats up most of the words and mis pronounce it...sanskrit is sin for tamils ,,,,,pathetic ,,,,fit to be road side singer !!! KK

it's really a dumb attempt only god knows how these guys are enjoying solo piano and guitar...i thought like musiciains were testing their instruments before they start the show..one more important thing is that plz dont compose if you donno lyrics meaning...rich instrumants..rich show...rich appearance as musicians but try singing this song with out your instruments in its own composition...you would literally cry...plz dont ruin their value..you dont own them..
yes i listen and i comment....i felt like saying it when i listened it.what do u mean by 'dnt like dnt listen' is it possible to like or unike something with out listening to it first.seems like you liked it go a head and enjoy it..i still stand by what i said...the original style is far more better....thanks for your comment.
