An enlightened person cannot be judged by any standards. He is beyond human understanding. Some will be rich and some will be in rags. Avadhootas are roaming around without even proper cloth. Maharaj was a great teacher. His words were bombshells shaking human consciousness
The avadhootas you mention live mostly outdoors like Ramana, there are thousands of beggers in India like that, that doesn't mean they are at all aware. Does that mean that harmony has nothing to do with the realisation of the Self? If the human body is such a perfect instrument, why would harmony awaken in a sick body with lung disease and in an addict to tobacco.. How can you explain that? I know his words are powerful but his environment and his life does not seem to match that light of Ramana.
@@shivaiam any attempts to compare or contrast or place in a hierarchy are all the workings of the mind. we need to go beyond that and not let the upbringing and social conditioning effect that.

yrs ago i went to his house after reading his book I AM THAT, but by then he has already left his body...a strange thing happened that day ,i remember a cow followed me from d main street through d gullies all d way right to his building entrance as if showing me d way..
