These guys are the real musicians. Not electronic mixes or auto tunes and anything. All pure talent. Such a raw and powerful voice he had! And all the lyrics written had a really deep meaning. I wouldn't be surprised to know if the majority of the lyrics were written by Rahul Rai himself. You can get the distinct love and pain vibe from the words, and the genuine expressions he had while singing it! I really hope he is resting in peace! Tribal Rain, cheers for these beautiful pieces!
This song is happy and sad at the same time. Don't know what it is about this song that just makes me want to cry..... Rahul had come with his band Dream Diabolic back in 2010 to Shimla to headline a gig. It wasn't a large scale event. Just a bar gig organised by some local youth. He had something about him that set him apart from everyone else that day in that room filled with people. I discovered Tribal Rain only a few days back and got to know about his passing away. Listening to this song reminds me of that winter day in Shimla. Pure nostalgia! I can't emphasize enough on the talent that this guy is. He'll live on with the music he gave us.

I just happen to hear it today as one of my Fren, a singer from Nepal a Vocalist who is at Sikkim at the moment sent me on whatspp saying hear these guys, try are Brilliant and later I tried finding u guys but I cudnt and again I contacted Prabal Rai Rj from Red Fm, Sikkim and got enlightened about such a wonderful young talents from The hills my fav Sikkim :D You guys are simply Amazing !!!!!
