Koi fark nahi padta kyunki aurangjeb nahi maarta to koi aur maar deta. Raja banne ke liye kitabi gyaan se jyada hathiyaro ka gyaan chhaiye hona chahiye. Dara siko kamjor insaan tha koi bi aakranta use aaram se maar deta.
Aurangzeb was such an intolerant extremist, ruthless, caliphate..still some historians glorify such a lousy fellow. Dara Shikoh was an embodiment of love, inclusiveness and compassion. His assassination only made him immortal in people’s hearts.

unfortunately, Dara Shiloh life is not getting a real significance in history or media. in all the histories of important Indian figures, it is difficult to find more secular person than Dara Shikoh.
@International Law glorifying aurangzeb doesn't mean you will lie about him, he renamed mathura as islamabad. He told everyone in his court to either resign or convert them in Islam. He putted taxes for tirth stal yatras. If shivaji maharaj wouldn't be there then aurangzeb would convert whole india but because of marathas n sikhs, he was busy in fighting and expanding his empire. And popularity of aurangzeb was more as he won the war with marathas and nizams during shah jahan's rule as army general.
One question to people commenting against Dara Shikoh and in favor of aurangzeb, were you guys born in 17th century that you've so much clarity of history that you dening everything ? Is your history different from what others interpret or read if it is what's the source of it's authenticity ? How come your reactions be so biased toward another prince who somewhat is referred as Shahjahan's favourite son and his chosen successor,is anyone's gonna benefit from it if he were to project as someone as a keen inquisitive learner and of high aptitude and not aurangzeb ? If Dara Shikoh was indeed a uniter and sane minded king what's the problem in appreciating him ? same people are the one's who would call modi no less than aurangzeb or atleast admit if you'd want YOUR ruler to rule that way ??
Fortunately, Prince of Ayodhya, Sri Ram got a beloved brother named Bharat. Unfortunately, Prince of Mughal Delhi, Dara Shikoh got a scoundrel religious maniac brother named Aurangzeb.
Jaswant Singh of Rajputana, out of his childhood friendship with Aurangzeb, refused to help Dara against Aurangzeb., which is one of the biggest reasons why Dara lost against Murad and Auranzeb's combined forces. Later Aurangzeb had his brother Murad killed as well.
Not only him....The Jat Chiefs and Sikhs also(who aldready had an Army), Naga Sadhus, and Hill Rajas (Himachal) all ignored to help him. Had even 50 % Hindu rajas in the area stood for him....the catastrope of Aurangzeb rule with redstruction of Mathura, Kashi etc could have been avoided.
