The Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust South Auckland had an amazing time at the Senior Citizen Meeting at Flatbush Community Hall! The day kicked off with a lively mix-and-mingle session, where our seniors savored delicious samosas and chai for breakfast.🥟☕
Our morning continued with a heartfelt prayer and special birthday wishes for those celebrating their birthday this month.
We then stretched and relaxed with an exercise session, followed by an exciting game of tambola that brought lots of laughter and joy. 🧘‍♀️🎲
During the workshop, seniors were informed about the Electoral Commission's voting initiative. Jessica Wang and Gee Tatana attended the meeting to emphasize the significance of participating in the upcoming elections by casting their votes. They highlighted that voting is a crucial way for individuals to have their voices heard and influence decisions that impact their communities.
We wrapped up the day with a delightful lunch, sharing stories and smiles. It was a day filled with warmth, connection, and community spirit. 🌼
