‣ Fourth noble truth is key to the whole dhamma (the way = 8-fold path) - 0:18 ‣ Path not created by the Buddha (exists without a buddha) - 2:01   ‣ Discovery of path - 3:54 ‣ All suffering arises from craving/clinging (ignorance is the root) - 6:03 ‣ "Path produces knowledge & vision" (not abstract; immediate insight. "Eye of insight") - 7:50 ‣ "The Middle Way" (path avoids extremes in conduct & views) - 9:20   ‣ Two extremes: - 9:42     ‣ Indulgence & desire (only live once) - 10:01     ‣ Self-mortification, asceticism (body & spirit = antagonists) - 10:47   ‣ Not a compromise between extremes (rises above them) - 12:32     ‣ Real renunciation = inward mental act - 14:04 ‣ 8 factors operate simultaneously, not consecutive steps - 14:23 ‣ 8 factors divided in two parts: knowledge/understanding & practice/conduct - 15:43   ‣ Knowledge/understanding (contains only *1.
