He's right. As a pakistani I agree. It was united or british India pehlai and they did speak since centuries there. All Urdu poets like ghalib are examples of it.
Kullu is the pride of Bhopal. He is a great representative of this city. He's also bringing the fresh, young and relatable small city experience into his art.
He's not, he also idiolise terrorist like Sanjay Dutt (convicted terrorist) and Zakir Naik (absconding after spreading false religious propaganda and terrorism). Zakir Naik latest "fatwa" on mandir in uae - its better to build weapons for terrorism and genocide than to contribute in making temple...
I am proud to be a #Bhopali. For the unintended- Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It's the 15 largest city in India. Population 2.5 million. One of the most beautiful, green , clean and prosperous cities of India.
Conversion rate between INR & PKR is too huge right now , Kullu was wrong when he said 40,000 PKR might be 20-25K INR and 1 Lac is like 60K INR. 40,000 PKR is like 12500 INR & 1Lac PKR is like 31K INR so that makes a huge difference.
I am from Siliguri which is a small town of West Bengal, India and Kullu bhai mentioned that he would like to see a comedian from Siliguri, that too on a podcast like The Pakistan Experience.-- it felt so good. And I thoroughly enjoyed the whole podcast. Thank you Shehzad Bhai for the work you're doing. May stand up comedy grows more in Pakistan. All the best wishes for your country and the people -- Dil se. ❤️❤️
@@ForwardRitesh Well you are mistaken then. I hope you realise that small town doesn't mean backwardness. I myself am from Siliguri, and Siliguri is definitely a small town compared to other cities of West Bengal, although it is the third most populous town/city of the state. FYI, Howra happens to be the second largest city of West Bengal.
Nearly 12am here in UK, can't stop watching!!! Nearly two hours show and felt like 20 mins. Shehzad, what took you so long to bring non political person from India..amazing work n keep it up.
Kullu turned out to be a real Chhuppa Rustam. His whole demeanour seemed steeped in Mohabbat .A true adherent of “Amor Vincit Omnia” (Love Conquers all).Kudos to Kullu😇 🙏
I'm a Sindhi from India, and I honestly don't feel Pakistani Sindhi's are any different from us here in India. I have seen so many videos of Sindhi's from Pakistan, and it always makes me feel like they are just like us. The way of speaking, the accents, the habits, the food, etc. are all so similar. I watch videos of Asghar Khoso, Gamoo, Sohrab Somroo, also Natalia Gul, whom the current generation of Sindhi's (GenZ) like me, relate to a lot more 😅... And, Sindhi folklore from Pakistan is so much to talk about, or just how amazing it is to hear SomeWhatSuper's songs, whose "The Sibbi song" also got featured in Ms. Marvel. Really feels good when I see so much talent among us Sindhi peeps! 💜💜 Although, there are some Sindhi's who have completely lost their identity and culture, at least here in India, especially in Metro cities. I live in Mumbai, and I'm happy that I can at least speak Sindhi very well, unlike some other Sindhi kids around here in Bombay, who for some reason find it uncool. I really wish our culture and language stays relevant, cause there's so much history of our people.
Sindhis raised in karachi can't write their language and don't understand many sindhi words and asks for the urdu mean lol But iam really surprised that sindhis across the border know bout asghar khoso gammo and all, Sindhi culture is so underrated in pakistan Ppl need to know bout legends like watayu faqeer , history of hojamlo And our food omg the og koki, beha, muthiyu, geehcha and more Hope one day you guys can visit sindh❤ Saadein khush raho.
Me and my family love Kullu. He has such wholesome vibes, his humor is self deprecating yet quite charming and not offensive at all. I now respect him more knowing he studies South Asian culture so deeply.
Kullu is literally the cutest human. The way he talks about his work, the enthusiasm in his voice, the excitement, the respect he has for everyone, his down to earth nature, everything is so freaking adorable ❤
Bhopal is called city of lakes and one of the greenest cities of india. It's not a small town but u will get the small town vibes when u walk around like less crowded n most importantly the food is amazing. Even Katrina Kaif & salman khan's favorite city to eat food is bhopal.
Whom u call umer sharif shahab... He once said in his show, when Pakistan cricket team lost to india in world cup, his quote " Md. Ghori ne bhi 17 baar Somnath temple pe attack karne k baad kamyab hua tha" This is the level of intelectual and comedy of the great umer sharif,, whom the fool indians don't know... If any ony one want the video clip link i will send
Shehzad bhai flights are very much affordable in India now. 5 to 6 years back middle ppl can only dream to go on flights. But now it is cheaper than trains sometimes.
@@तरबुज_खाने_वाला_राक्षस 2 months back i took a flight from Delhi to Pune in 3K. And while returning i booked 2nd ac coach train which costed me 2500. 1st ac coach price was more than 3K.
Great podcast as always. What really stood out to me was his take on Pakistani comedy. He used the word "raw" to describe it which people take as "from the heart" or "street". But what it actually means is "un-refined". Basically meaning its armature or people doing it on the side or not professionally. Because money brings professionalism which brings in refinement. We see this in our cricket too where a player pops-up from no where and every one rants and raves. But dude that just means we don't have a professional set-up. Where people have to depend on blind luck to make it to the team. Anyway that was rant of the day.
Even though my preferred flavour is Indian urbane English comedy, I've seen a bit of kullu Bhai on TB's channel. Knowing his background gave me affirmations about how talented he is. And Shehzad, this is the best host-guest camaraderie I've ever seen on this show... It's really commendable how you pull off adept conversations on all scales of formalities depending on the guest.
Absolutely amazing episode! super insightful and pretty sure going to help tons of upcoming comics on either side of the border. Awesome initiative to invite Kullu bhai!
The song that he mentioned "meri sansoun mai basa hai" is composed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan for the movie Aur pyar ho gaya. Perhaps one of Udit's top ten songs
I listen to many indian podcasts but strangely enough TPE is the place where I learnt so much about Indian stand-up scene and it's struggles. 🔥🔥 Episode Aag laga di dono ne.
I've been watching Kullu's content for a few months but I cannot tell you the joy I got from seeing him on one of my favorite podcast shows. This content, this 2 hour discussion right here is so good that it almost feels like illegal to watch it for free. Please let me know how I can contribute to this lovely channel
Bhi saaaab ❤️❤️ Mazaa aa gaya I do follow indian content including entertainment and politics, now I am getting it, it's same across the borders. (SRK wali stream me bhi tha me pakistani politics follow krta hu)
Yaaar loving this one already!! It's so cool when you bring on folks like him and Joyeeta on the show; always a blast to listen to! Matlab no enmity, no hidden 'khunnas', no '36 ka aakda', only vibes😍😍😍 Love it, jeetay raho, khush raho!
Shahzad this is incredible! And greatness shows in how someone speaks and gives credit to his colleagues and mentors. Absolutely love how authentic this guy is
16:14. Finally I found someone who can literally 'write' the movie Gadar. I watched the movie 20+ times can still recall the entire movie and every dialogue even though It's been 22 years now (wow!). "2June 1947, Hindustan ke itihaas ki aisi tareekh.... 41:00, No use talking of a man who has passed away. But then we have Indians who won't defend their man in front of foreigners. A proper way would have been to deflect.
Till now 5:35 was a class joke 'Jawani mein pata chala ki Bollywood hamare yaha nehi lagta...' Honestly, in a Christian Missionary Boarding school i too grew up thinking all the cowboy and red Indian Hollywood movies were made in McLuskieganj (an Anglo Indian small railway town) 😂😁
Guys, you should watch the villian Ranjit's story/intervews about how he came to Bombay from Delhi. I am mentioning it in the context of Kullu going to Zakir Khan'shouse and being asked to go the the upstairs room and stay put. Ranjit's story is extraordinary.
we still have some decent dramas that have cropped up recently such as: Dil na umeed to nahi Eik thee lailaa Sar e Rah Dobara Pinjra ( but bohat lambaa khich gaya hai)
Can someone please talk about how Pakistanis use banned casteist terms by Indian constitution casually ...Once they did in laughter challenge in late 2000s and got lauded with FIRs...they used the words chude chamar
I arrived at ur podcast with Syed Muzamil episode and have been binging on episodes ever since. Came to know so much abt Pakistan from this podcast and it definitely demolished many notions that I had abt pakistan. This was by far one of the most relatable and light watch. I hope you get a chance to visit India and explore it’s beauty and diversity. Do keep bringing more folks from India and breaking stereotypes. One friendly suggestion India is a country of contradictions their are no absolute truths so take ur time in knowing the country and be careful bfr making any perceptions. Best of luck!!
