I would also add to the reasons why hypixel bedwars is dying is due to the fact of a few more factors such as: lack of new playerbase so everyone is getting better making less skilled players not like it lack of any update that makes the game less stale

its very sad seeing a game i put over 1000 hours into turn into absolute garbage but theres not much we as players can do. i genuinely think that the competitive mc community and especially the hypixel community are one of the, if not the most toxic gaming environments to be in. im not sure why this is the case, but i almost regret even joining this community, if this is what it has come to. i am still holding out hope but the players that make this server a horrible place to be on are not going to change easily which makes it almost doomed to fail. rip

When I went for my 100 ws grind, i got sniped 3x at 79, i lost my ws at 79 as the cheater bednuked, keep in mind he was also fly hacking, kill aura and everything you can expect. The cheater got banned 3 hours later. Look at Technoblades 1000 WS grind, he barely got sniped over hundreds of games. I believe throughout the entire ws he only got sniped THREE times. Shows how the community has deteriorated over time.

once you get to a certain point in bw you basically only lose streaks when you queue cheaters so yeah it is what it is

i think the hypixel staff should think abt ban overlays and trackers. This community is completly destroyed. There r so many cheaters tht ther arent even enoigh players with a good ws and the cheaters r ending up sniping 100 strs with a 3 fkdr. Strong words pumpkin

It's really sad because I try to bring people that I know irl into the game, and they can't really progress and get better without being wiped by a cheater every 3 or 4 games. Pretty sure this applies to a lot of new players as well. They can't really have breathing room to improve at the game and actually learn how to play without having to deal with some closet cheater or some average sweat trying to get a 100000 fkdr account by farming 0-10 star queues. Hypixel just doesn't take their player-base(and potential new players) into account. All they really care about is how to milk every penny possible out of skyblock. This is why every game mode not just bedwars is steadily declining and it's really sad to see.

Really nice video, agree with pretty much everything. Players just got bored of doing the "harmless" stuff in the game like building huge bed defenses as you said and moved onto harming other player's gameplay.

I know a few people who have played with Chwoop and even they have said he used 3.2 quite unfortunate to see but glad to see your video trying to make a change

Hey man. I’m a brazilian Hypixel player who was (as far as i know) one of the first five in the country to reach NWL 250 without any global boosters, which ended up giving me decent stats in every game (+ ive had some mains like skywars, bedwars, etc.) i ended up gaining a decent amount of respect and fame in the brazilian community even though i NEVER cheated and most of this community (wouldnt be exaggerating if i said around 80%) was cheating. That leads to unfun gameplay, toxicity, unrealistic standards… But the worst is, even the ones who are trying their hardest to still be legit are just gonna be pointed out as cheaters, because thats easier and more comfortable to believe. As much as i don’t know how different this scenario is for a RU-vidr, i do know that i always wished i had fame and proof, which you do, to guarantee i could quickly neutralize these situations by guaranteeing their deserved in game punishments, and not having to make any of that personal. That being said, i think you could avoid a lot of stress by forgiving some of the people who took the decision of cheating, even if it sounds horrible and you would never do the same, because at this point your thoughts will never converge with theirs and therefore they might stress you by not comprehending your decisions. If i was you, id just post all that proof and then advertise his pack. You dont have to talk to him ever again. And this situation will repeat many times in the future because of the state of this community. Hope this changes your mind.

I agree with almost everything that was said in this video, there was some very good insight into why it's still possible to cheat blatantly on hypixel and why the old system doesn't work. But one thing people forget/don't know about is that there is more to the chazm story than what you talked about in the video. When he grinded skywars he played many thousands of games with known cheaters (most notably pickyhoe and fatban) so bhopping once isn't the only time he broke the server rules. Great video.

There is only one thing that could explain to me why they aren’t reworking watchdog rn. They have to be working on the Bedwars update. These are the 2 things that I can think of that can bring more players to hypocenter again

personally, as a trash player, (0.45 kdr, 0.3 fkdr, etc)i haven't encountered a cheater in bedwars in atleast 4 months, i think. (skywars is a different story.) as regards to minemenclub and AGC(AntiGamingChair, their anticheat) people are focusing on that more, with things like tickbase (changes the game's tick speed and imitates lag, basically lags just outside of hit range and teleports in, "legitly" 5-blocking people) and backrack (allows you to hit players where they were instead of where they are) getting better, as well as insane scaffolds. i used to cheat but don't really anymore, it's only fun against other cheaters (think 2b2t clones or coldpvp anarchy). great vid, i agree mostly with your opinions (your stereotypes of cheaters are a bit strong but unfortunately often correct), and i sympathize a bit with chazm.

Bro the fact that your own editor was cheating just explains and SPEAKS LOUDLY about the fact that bedwars is really killing it self. The new players come see a cheater and never play ever again. As its soo difficult for them to play.

Yesterday I got cheated on by a 30fkdr boosting a 15fkdr 1.4K star dark blue + and a 10fkdr 60. Star Game is definitely going out the door

It's incredibly unfortunate how awful the hypixel (primarily bedwars) community is, with the amount of cheaters & snipers, and the fact that the only fun some people can have is purposefully ruining other people's fun makes it all just depressing. I try to play for fun and to actually enjoy the game which is the entire purpose of bedwars, but it's hard to do so when people try and ruin your fun just so that they can either have one over you, degrade you, or feel better about themselves and the anticheat is almost completely nonexistant when it is needed (and it hurts legit ppl more than cheaters). Honestly if I wasn't stubborn and I didn't see a sliver of hope in the community, I would have left a while ago but slowly over time, that sliver has turned into a thread that is slowly wearing down before it snaps. I wish the best for hypixel and that it can fix it's bs anticheat and for it eventually to get back some players who want to enjoy the game and make the community better, but we can only hope and try our bests. (Also side note I know a friend who is a 1000 star in bw who fell into the exact trap chazm fell into and it's honestly sad to see. 11:10 or so i can relate, i lost my 80ws (130 in 3s) today, which my pb was 60 before from queueing a no stat account that insta sniped me and my team, he bhopped and bednuked us it was very sad for me

how could you cheat real! 😡😡😡 (not fake) but getting real on this topic- im uncomfortable playing with people im not close friends with because im getting close to 1k stars and ive been sent dms of people conspiring of how to get into my party to get me banned for not knowing theyre cheating and its legit concerning how people think its funny to throw away all the grinding ive done because it would be cool to add another person to their "i got someone banned" list. the game is basically unplayable when a bhopper snipes me every 5 games. playing with other high stars makes the target bigger. its annoying to play with the people i have confirmed are legit because we are targeted harder for having higher stats and its plain scary to play with new people because they could be hacking. its an unhealthy balance of "how am i going to get screwed over?"

Its insane how these snipers ruin winstreaks. I was grinding a winstreak on 4v4 and got sniped by a cheater while having 89 ws. Sucks that I cant get high winstreaks without be hopped on.

jokes aside i barely play any bedwars anymore and when i do play some doubles with friends without dodging its either queuing cheaters or having my somewhat 30ish ws sniped every single time. its extremely demotivating and the only thing that keeps me playing is the fun i have with my friends

The server has gotten so bad to the point where I am getting consistently sniped on single digit winstreaks. If you are familiar with the tracking discord server I can guarantee you open that server and see a bedwars AI talking about his epic 20 winstreak snipe on a 4 fkdr random. Game is dying and hypixel aint gonna do anything to fix it

Its even worse with unstable ping. Im NA but my wifi is so unstable i go from 40 to 200 and everything in between so the game can become nearly unplayable. Hits get cancelled. it ends up feeling like im also australian. Also one time I was quing with some randoms(i think one of them was closeting) and one had a 100 fkdr and we get sniped and i start flagging against the hopper and we laugh about it but then he kills me and we lose. ps: I also had really bad self esteem issues a year ago and used to violently cheat. I have 200 dollars in clients sitting on my computer from when i used to cheat and snipe.

The amount of sweats that have toggled when someone gets the upper hand is terrible makes the game unplayable

i remember how nice it was to log on 1-2 years ago and just join bedwars games and play. youd maybe get a cheater every hundred games, it sucks now that when i decided to return to play this is the current state. unless hypixel actually sorts it out i dont see me or a lot of others being motivated to play

This is exactly how I feel as a legit player who has never cheated before about the current state of not just hypixel but all of 1.8. I don’t know if you’ve played ranked on minemen but a good 60% of all players who q ranked are cheating. And yes they are somewhat fightable but it still takes the fun out of the game

i love this game. i've made a lot of friends from it. but the amount of people that cheat/doxx/ddos or are just horrible people in general in this comm is absurd. i'd rather learn a new combat system in 1.20.

I have never cheated on a server. I only downloaded a hacked client once to see if it was fun or not ( on a single player world) and what I found was, that hacking is really boring. I felt as if I had downloaded a bot to play minecraft for me. It was terrible and to think that's how some ppl play the game that way shows how bad hypixel is nowadays.

i might switch games tbh, minecraft is generally very flawed when it comes to anticheats and stuff because it was not meant to be a competitive game!!!!!! The server side anticheats generally suck, and client side anticheats have never worked.

you are speaking facts right now, snipers are a huge problem at this point, but closet cheaters have been ruining the game for soooo long (way before bedwars) its hard to find actual good legit players.. you also said it at around 9:43 and you made the claim that you can fight them and its true in some cases but for me, this is the main problem that will never be fixed. there are a lot of known "good" players but are they actually good? ill give some examples without any form of hackusation, but youtubers like kysiek, nos, dewier, you, etc. dont get me wrong, i watch and love the vids and you are great ppl but how do we know if you are 100% legit. You are all great players, have amazing game sense but this is the problem, when a player with good game sense (not talking about anyone) has a reach advantage, or clicking fast without any effort and with amazing aim, every game for hours straight its hard to belive its legit, because any form of little advantage is not legit. Again, i dont hackusate anyone, but the "sweat" status and the main problem is that these players have a little advantage and a lot would say they are legit. Sniping with bhop is still a huge problem but they admit it. If minecraft had only legit players and blatant cheaters it would not be a huge problem for me, good servers would insta ban all cheaters and then all legit players can play, but as long as vape and other closet clients exist, "sweaty" minecraft will always be a pain for legit players that love the game. 9:35 i've said this like 100 times but mineman is a practice server hypixel is not, they have to take into account other games, like for example smash heroes you can double jump and go like extremely fast as certain characters in a second, and in other games like bedwars you cant
