This video displays a unique festival hosted in Paro called Paro Tshechu. It is one of the biggest festivals in Bhutan. It is a religious cultural festival, held since 17th century. During this festival locals dress in their finest clothes. there are performances by folk artists depicting their traditional; beliefs and dance forms. This festival occurs around in March.
In this video the large statue is basically the judge of the court and the black demon is giving his evidence on why the person should go to hell and the white goddess is protesting on why the person should go to heaven.
