If they want Indians they shouldn't be charging SDF.. but Indians need to visit our own North East states.....it is equally beautiful... And helps NE economy
My maternal uncle's house is near Bhutan border in West Bengal. In childhood, we used ngultram for buying smaller things like samosa, chai, or sometimes used it for local bus fare .
I have visited 7 counties so far and the recent trip to Bhutan was the best travelling experience! Unique culture, purest air, and mind-blowing landscapes, awesome food and wonderful people! I Would like to go back again!
Our Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim is as beautiful as Bhutan...so for exploring Natural beauty and beautiful culture i would like to visit Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim...by doing so tourism sector of Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh will get a boost...for buying gold i world like to visit Dubai....
For my fellow Indians who don't know, Bhutan is really like a mixture of best parts of cultures from Europe, Sino-Tibet and Indian Subcontinent. When I visited it first, I was amazed by how civilized it was. In Thimphu there are no signals, most are roundabouts, and cars stop just like European countries in the zebra crossings when they see people and even dogs. And yes, the dogs too wait for the cars to stop.
Why the king sends an mandatory guide with you when we come to Bhutan for tourism? It is because it is mostly dictatorship and the govt. doesn't want local people's ideology influenced.
@@green_life7 i didn't have any guide when i visited. It's certainly not a dictatorship. But, it's not a complete democracy either. People there worships their king like a god even though the king has relinquished the power. And if what you said was right, then Bhutanese people won't have been allowed to move outside of their country, which is not the case. I had Bhutanese students in my college.
@@Amuzic_Earth It is semi-dictatorship type of regime. The guide is mandatory as per their tourist policies, I don't know why you were allowed to not having a guide. May be you visited just the capital and a certain land demarcation upto which you don't need to have a guide, but if you travel beyond that and deep into Bhutan, you must have a guide.

Why should we decide policies of bhutan .. They want to balance between ecology and tourism .. Same should be happen with ladakh .. There should be no harm to nature by tourism.. like we see in ladakh and himachal utrakhand
The whole point of their policy is that they don't want MORE tourists. Because the whole world is not like us. Here more people equals good, quality is of no value, basically Bhutan does not want our kachra public to visit their country ( nor any other), generally well off people behave better than the aam janata.
Come to Sikkim (I too wanted to go Bhutan now it is expensive ) if Bhutan doesn't lower its fee then sikkim and darjelling and shilling will attract tourists
Nahi banayenge ye hamare upar kabhi bhi video because we were hindus. If we were Muslims or non-hindu, there would have been thousand of videos We Hindus lives isn’t worth
Once upon a time, there lived happy couple without worries and fears. One day a boy from neighbour came to couple asking for food n shelter as his parents couldn't afford for him. Couple being neighbourhood n humble, raised boy treating like his own child. As time went, there was change in boys behaviour and attitude towards couple. Observing it,couple adviced him n reminded him its not good for him. When boy grew up,he demanded for land n try to claim all properties by bullying. However as boy became threat, couple took decision to chase him by anymeans. Theme: never pass stool on plate u used to have meal.
The bad part is 4500 per day for Private vehicle, 1200 per day per person , compulsory private tour guide which will itself cost 1000-1500 per day, and compulsory stay in 3 star hotel. Which will add upto 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees which is impractical.
Sir, I think its a good scheme..That scheme not boost their economy much but it affect environment and law. Although if tourists are little responsible and understand the garbage problem, we can change the world. India should also take initiative for our mountains and forests. Atleast our citizens should care about environment.
@@rajchauhan-xx8xc kuch bhi. No they did not became Maoist and tried to dethrone the king. Bhutanese Lhotshampa Hindus were Bhutanese citizens but 4th king brought discriminatary laws to make them 2nd class citizens, so many Lhotshampa leaders and common Hindus protested for equal rights and democracy, not for republic or dethroning the king. After that king killed, raped and exiled 100,000 innocent people including disabled, pregnant women, small children.
@@rajchauhan-xx8xc they were asking for constitutional monarchy were Hindus and other minority rights are protected with proper Lhotshampa representative so that they can’t do whatever they want with Hindus or any other minority group. It’s king who is dictator like Maoist. Hindus wanted democracy, Maoism means dictatorship
For male passengers 20g gold jewellery and for female passengers 40g gold jewellery allowance is only for those passengers who have stayed 365 days abroad ,even one day is not exemted. Gold should be only in jewellery form not in bullion. Please clarify this to your followers. Go through baggage rules by cbic.
The diff. is quite steep. What's the reason for such low price in Bhutan, they don't produce Gold in their land either. Alsk what's the guarantee of purity are they hallmarked?
I last went to Thimphu Paro on 2019 with friends. Myself being from Guwahati Assam. It takes us 2 hour to reach Samdrup Jongkhar, Bhutan. During November I went to visit Bhutan for few hours, but recently they have changed a lot of things in entry points(documents check). They made it so pathetic to cross the border.. it's time Bhutan should realise that they are surviving on us.. Make it easy for us indians atleast to
Amarjjyoti.... From Guwahati to Bhutan you travelled by bus? How many days did you stay there is it possible that a tourist from India goes to Bhutan along with his wife spends one night in a budget hotel and next day comes back after purchasing gold the minimum allowed and then comes back and themselves in Indian market how much will he profit and what is the cost from travelling to Bhutan from Guwahati staying there and coming back
@@NectarEntertain guwahati to bhutan jst 100 km,,,2 hours by bus,,,my house is in Bhutan border(indian side),,,their is a small city their samdrup jongkhar in Bhutan,,,u will get good quality hotel their in cheap prices,,,u just bring your voter ID together with you
Sir I think the scheme of duty free gold is applicable only for the citizens who have lived abroad atleast for one year. If we wish to bring the gold to the extent of duty free limit we will have to stay in Bhutan for atleast one year.
Thimpu and Bagdogra are good options. Bigger problem is security of 1.5Lacs worth of gold while traveling by road from Bhutan to at least Bagdogra airport.
All SDF paying tourist can buy duty free gold in Bhutan ..Each person can buy upto 20g of gold but the payment must be done in USD ($) dollars..it can be purchased from Monday to Friday ..The difference in rate is around 7000-8000 per 10g..
India should decrease the import tax on gold for indians and increase the gold brought with them up to one kilogram, then India would be loaded with gold reserves and making india the richest nation on earth. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤ mera bharath mahaan. 🌹🌹🌹🌹from USA.
Bhai Bhutan has only one Airport and that is Paro! Only 2 airlines, Druk air and Bhutan Airlines operate out of Paro. Fares have been doubled this year, which will cover a lot of the losses they may have had due to Covid. Most people who travel to Bhutan are nature lovers and they are unlikely to be dazzled by the gold scheme . But they may end up buying to the extent of 50k or 100k as the case may be just to partially cover their SDF costs .
I went to Bhutan in 2001 and the SDF for all countries other than Indians was USD 200. Its not new. and the low tourism figure is misleading as most of Bhutan is extremely cold between late September to December. PPL go there in spring and summer.
65 dollar was for foreigner and the remaining 135 includes stay, guide fees and travelling expenses before 2020.. And now they ask 200 dollar as visa fees
