Such a beautiful country with very interesting aviation. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and see all new and inspiring places. Not to mention the possibility to fly the 732 again. Great upload JustPlanes!
I love this place, it shows lots of great things, something for example........ safety, feeling like the peoples caring about their place, planes take off and land without all the BS of security and what not, I wish I can live down there, I'll be like making my breakfast, and a 732 passes me by, I wave to the pilot and say "care for a cup of coffee?"
Both cities Biak and Jayapura are in Indonesia. They're absolutely beautiful and spotter friendly, too! I would like to visit this island in the future!
They have, but the airport here, in my country, Indonesia, especially in Papua Province, most of the airport can be penetrated by locals..........but i love to live here in Indonesia...........
I never in my life seen this before. People on the runway??!! The person sitting down lounging on the runway act like it's no big deal, wow. This is a major security breach wherever this is at.
Security is really lax in this airport. Even if this is only a small regional airport, yet the threat if there's any breach is always possible anytime. I would presume there's not even a perimeter fence to secure the whole airfield. On the other hand, isn't it ridiculous anybody can just cross the runway and even one person is relaxing at one end as if he's in his living room as the plane lands. Should they wait for an incident to happen? I hope not.
What is this? An airport/park? People relaxing on the runway as if they were in a park. Next thing you know they'll start to fall asleep, have a bar b q pr play soccer on the runway.
This is ridiculous.. Quite clearly there is a safety issue here.. boys playing, animals, woman walking casually and to top it off the men sitting on the runway like no body's business as the plane landed.. This airport needs to be investigated
You may like it, but please remember, the pilots don't like all those people walking around there, and 2, remember that this is muslim country, so they don't have to worry about a muslim blowing up another muslim airplane with muslims on board.
