Hi, the temp of my coffee brewed with cold water is max 60C and with boiled water max 85C. Pouring to a cup, I lose another 10C, so coffee is undrinkable. Any idea what can be wrong? Note that I got the same results with Bialetti New Venus and Bialetti induction pot. I'm grinding the coffee with timemore c2 using 13 clicks.
If you fill it just below the safety valve you will get approx. 235 ml of coffee. For some reason Bialetti thinks this is equal to 6 espresso shots even though a normal shot is 40 ml.
@@MovieViking you gotta think that maybe Bialetti's measurements are different than here in the states. Maybe a six cup venus means it can fill up six cups of coffee for six people.
@@sO_RoNerY Nope, I just found out that Bialetti considers approx. 40 ml to be one espresso though some regards that as a double shot. But it is never 6 cups.
Darth Jar Jar I read it else where there is no real difference other than the look and size options. However Kitty is somehow dishwasher safe while the other two still need to be hand washed.
I want an 80 ml coffee. The measurement Bialetti shows of 4, 6 or 8 cups doesn’t equate to the number of ml’s of coffee I want. Don’t know which one to buy.
You'll want the 1 cup or 3 cup model of the regular moka cup (I don't believe they make a 2 cup version). I have the 3 cup model of the bialetti moka cup, and it makes about 140 ml on average.
I went for the 6 cup model as I like a mug of coffee in the morning. That model will also do two tea cup size cups of coffee if you're sharing with a partner.
I live with my wife and the coffee that we dont drink we put in a little glass bottle and we use it for the next morning mixing it the milk. (excuse me for my bad english)
The Bialletti Venus coffee machine has in its water tank an unidentified internal film, similar to tefal. This fact caused me great displeasure because I do not know if this material, totally unnecessary is toxic, since even more that was manufactured in China.
Максим Мельник "It is of poor quality" well cars are recicled metal, everything is recicled metal, buy aluminum then, it is recicled but it is good quality
I strongly advise against the Bialetti Venus, where the lid hinge is in plastic and connected to the handle. After less that 2 months of using it, the upper plastic part of the hinge simply snapped because the handle was slightly going sideways. This is a clear design flaw. Bialetti first ignored us then, after insisting, right out refused to replace part of or the entire coffee pot. Bad service ! Pay attention to the hinge not to be partly plastic, because it will eventually break. I believe the Bialetti New Venus fixes that design flaw.
@@sO_RoNerY Holy Ergonomy ! Easy to say but not obvious to do: It is something round and very smooth. Besides it only needed a very slight inclination in the handle to break the lid hinge. Due to this design flaw, I advise to avoid buying that model altogether.
@@carruscainamoto Yet, Bialetti redesigned the Venus model to have an all-metal hinge . I think you apply too much implication to defend this model, that even Bialetti does not.
