TeeKoooo She may never be the champion Serena is. I agree. I doubt very much there will EVER be any player that will repeat or come close to Serena. But remember, overall, Bianca has a 2-0 record against Serena, both of which were in finals, one a Premier (via retirement, granted) and one a Grand Slam (straight sets). She is definitely not intimidated and so far has not come close to being “spanked” by Serena.
The women's finals one is terrible though, as if you watched it without the score, you would have thought Serena killed Andreescu. Totally biased highlights.
This was one of the best matches or the best match maybe of USO 2019 in the women’s side, Mertens played amazing and well, about Bianca there’s not too much left to say...
Great match up ! I think it was the best of the tournament. Both players showed full rounded skills and played well. Andreescu matches are the ones to watch ! She gets better all the time because she doesn't give up trying !
I'm really impress how mertens increased her power and became more aggressive especially on the forehand side. I hope she improves her side to side movement to take her game in the next level

This is exactly the type of tennis i have thought should be from a girl playing at the top level...i see all others in WTA playing one dimensional tennis. Either they are sluggers or they are shot makers and even when they are shot makers they are not of the level of someone who can stick to world number one and slugging can only get you so far. Only Naomi Osaka can be called an exceptional shot maker in WTA with some semblance of consistency but as i have said before, Naomi Osaka is also hopelessly one dimensional though i think we are going to be looking at Naomi Osaka and Bianca Andreescu as the Next Gen rivalry. These two will overtake the field very soon. What can i say about Andreescu..she does everything like i imagine a girl should do on a tennis court. Exactly the kind of tactics i had thought would be super successful and the execution is wow! She has the slices, the serve, the drop shots and a very powerful shot making capability at inane angles too. She reads the game like a veteran. Even Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were one dimensional in comparison. What an amazing return 10:02 btw
Andreescu such a smart player..she changed the pace at the 2nd set..slow and low...not allowing martens dictated the ball with her bombing strokes anymore
Andreescus mom should by now be able to afford a stylist and someone to make her hair not look like the worst wig ever. It's as someone asked, do you want curls? And she said, yea but times 100 of what my actual hair is like..
Hate it when players shout after hitting a winner or getting a point. Bianca being the first on the list. That's her personality. Not a fan of hers anyway.
