Biathlon hasn't really been the same for me during the last season without the German golden generation of the 2010s - Arnd Peiffer, Simon Schempp, Erik Lesser -- all of whom retired in the last couple of years. You guys are greatly missed on the biathlon tracks. And the sense of loss is even greater considering that as global warming leaves Germany with hardly any snow in winter at all in most places we are most likely not going to see any more great German biathletes in the future because talented youth will probably just take up summer sports instead.
