Lolly I just love this. I love your drawings and letters. So super pretty. Thank you for sharing. So many of the verses have touched me tonight. For 7 months I have dealt with horrible arm n shoulder pain. Preventing me from doing most things. Sometimes I feel hopeless. Thank you. I love listening to you read the verses.

Lolly, you have no idea how perfect that your timing is. The Lord absolutely led you to share this exactly now. I desperately needed this as I am going through so very much right now. Some of the verses you highlighted spoke to me. It was so encouraging and inspiring to me despite my heavy grief. Blessings and Hugs 🤗

I love your Bible journaling style. My style is a bit more doodley, but I don't like to cover the words, either. I doodle, do lettering and sometimes use stamps & stickers, but the aim is to direct me to the scripture. Thank you for sharing.

You can do it! It was intimidating in that I had JUST ordered the Bible when I broke my arm. That sure affected the Perfectionist Lolly! :)

Im late to this video but i have been taping extra pages in my Bible for awhile and it works better than glue. I never understood why folks stick to glue. But you can use tape like you said. You can also use large post its and fit them in the crease or the top or bottom of the page. You can layer notes as well. Finally i use a hardcover notebook thats the size of an a5 planner and write notes to make myself my own personal commentary. Great video

Lovely ideas. Many paper crafters prefer liquid glue on paper projects, since tapes don't last as long.

I broke my right wrist in college. By the time 6 weeks had gone by, my left handed writing looked pretty much the same as my right handed writing. Not taking notes was not an option. I missed the Art History midterm, and my entire grade was based on the final. In my case that worked out better.

Could make a video showing a few start to finish on how you did some of the journal pages. Perhaps you drawing what fonts you use and how you piece together. I am very impressed and would like to attempt to do. But unsure and would like some more guidance in creating such a piece of art that I feel honors Gods word instead of adding nonsense to it Thank you again

Thank you so much for your interest. I'm not sure I feel qualified, as I just make it up as I go along and create a writing style as I go. In the beginning, I tried to copy some lettering styles, but then I quit and just started playing and doing what felt naturally. You can search online for "lettering styles" to find many ideas.

Lolly! Your book is beautiful. Such lovely verses. I would like further explanation of what to write on the bible and is it the actual bible you write on or a bible like book. Yes, you can actually "journal" -- write notes in it, or you can just focus on a word or rewrite what's already written.

yes, it's got wide margins so that there is room to journal. I also have another Bible that has one page of Scriptutre and one hole blank page for journaling.
