About Me Manual Pedal started in 2014 when I rode my bicycle from New York to California. A total of 2 ½ months and 3,173 miles. During that trip, I thought a lot about how I can share my journey and passion for bicycle touring with people. It was in Nevada I decided to run the Manual Pedal site as home to adventure cycling stories, reviews, and short films. Over the years the site has developed an array of content that depicts my adventures traveled by bicycle, along with product reviews and short films.
