Kori Schake, American Enterprise Institute director of foreign and defense policy studies, joins 'Squawk Box' to discuss the state of the Israel-Hamas war, President Biden's Israel ultimatum, the impact on U.S.-Israel relations, and more.
The U.S. should be firmly supporting its ally in their fight against Islamic terrorism.Forget about appealing to the pro Hamas wing of the Democratic party.
What is stopping Any European country or other country from providing "Support"? US is stepping back from taking on the World Protection Job. Other countries need to contribute their fair share. Open your eyes and quit expecting the US take on excess burdens for low or no benefit.
Imagine that - a government (that supposedly represents its people) "caving" to will of its people and not caving to the demands of a foreign nation - unprecedented and shocking!
"The People" are not qualified to make this decision. That is why our forefathers made America a republic and not a democracy. Leaders are supposed to lead and make the hard decisions. They are supposed to do the right and moral thing even when the uneducated masses call for the opposite.
Not the will of the American people. The will of left wing progressives and by contrast, that is not the majority of Americans. That's the outrage is this administration is not doing the will of a majority of Americans
This is not a site for your garage.move to Gaza and post your remarks and bring a sign that says You are a hostage for Hamas has a no return policy and remember to bring your Burka
@@robertcampomizzi7988 Well the debt is over $30 trillion and keeping inflation elevated. That's the problem. It ain't no $11/person. That's a load of crap. A majority wants no involvement outside of us mediating. Not bankrolling a foreign war.
@@jordanslingluff287 is it in the United States interest to keep Islamic jihadists from acquiring Israel's nuclear program??? 🤔 Stop being so short sighted. It's naive.
And tell us how you know. Because you don't. Take your buzz words and move to Gaza and post your remarks and bring a sign that says You are a hostage for Hamas has a no return policy and remember to bring your Burka
Blinker Boy's demand that Israel have a U.S. approved plan for Gaza when this is over gets the cart before the horse. Israel first has to win the war! Sending weapons to achieve that goal is kind of obvious.
You are disgraceful for not putting the blame were it belongs on Hamas. Hamas starts a war then you blame the victims and not the perpetrators. S•H•A•M•E on you. When the Palestinians build tunnels and stored weapons underneath a school, hospitals or mosque, the building loses its protected status. during war. Gaza-based journalist Jehad Saftawi said that the *Hamas terrorist organization indeed uses civilians as human shields in the war against Israel.* "Hamas terrorists used my family and hundreds of our neighbors as human shields. Hamas continues to hold the people of Gaza captive," Saftawi posted on X. "There should be no reconstruction of my family's home while a stockpile of weapons lies underneath. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar admitted the group “decided to turn that which is most dear to us - the bodies of our women and children - into a dam blocking the collapse in Arab reality.”
I agree we should support Israel against terrorists like Hamas, but that doesn't mean we should offer blank checks to someone like Netanyahu without any conditions and allow him to do whatever he wants.
