Biden courts Black voters during Morehouse College commencement speech

President Joe Biden delivered the commencement address at Morehouse College on Sunday, despite some students at Morehouse and other historically black campuses in Atlanta claiming they strongly oppose Biden and the decision to have him speak.
In an effort to reach Black Americans, Biden spoke before more than 500 young men in one of the country's oldest HBCUs, telling them that he hears their frustration in his support of Israel's military campaign in Gaza.
“What's happening in Gaza and Israel is heartbreaking. It's a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. That's why I've called for an immediate ceasefire, an immediate ceasefire to stop the fighting, bring the hostages home,” Biden stated.
