All the policies were beneficial and now he has made this surge that could top what Trump had. The only difference is that trump actively tried to fix the problem instead of purposefully making it worse.

@@beingmaryg3690 taking kids away from parents has been a thing since the end of 2008 with the anti trafficking law was put into place, where to help stop human trafficking they have to take away children to temporary care facilities or other family members in the US while everyone is processed. The cages were implemented by Obama and Biden (cause he was Vice President then, so it’s no wonder he continues Obama’s policies). Now trump didn’t go a whole ways of trying to improve the cages but he did make strides in reducing the need for cages by massively reducing the illegal immigration count, and they would be put into places in Mexico where they are more likely to have family waiting for them. The kids will eventually be reunited with their parents after processing. You can thank politics that this situation hasn’t improved much because trump had a bunch of plans that were stopped by the opposite isle because of blind anger. And yes I do want them to work together but I do also know that the democrats have no good intentions in mind as the way they are now. They need to be replaced with better representatives who give a shit just like the republicans. Also I don’t like the idea of others fleeing from criticism with the idea of ‘we should ignore this and just work together’ after spending many years of open criticism and body blocking, and they still haven’t apologized or accepted they were wrong about what they say. The democrats seem to have a way for ‘criticism for thy but not for me’ and that’s how they respond to other issues as well. It’s just a massive child’s game at this point.
