His actions and lack of action regarding Gaza very depressing and reprehensible to say the least. Sad because although he stood in middle ground he didnt seem a bad egg on other policies. Oh well. One thing I know is Trump is a big mistake so let’s hope Harris gets in.

@@LabelsAreMeaningless I’m American, my wife works in TV news and print. My impressions are colored, in part, by her opinions and experiences over the years with on-air talent. This voice of god narration is grating, not in least because because your dear international editor tends to editorialize. In America, this has become a very unfortunate trend and we have no regulatory authority like Ofcom to restrain some of worst offenders. I recall a couple years back that the graphics for one video simply stated something like ‘expert explains war in Ukraine.’ It’s always disappointing when egos are indulged like this. Still, by way of comparison, one of our famous old networks allows their anchor to rehearse her entire nightly broadcast -a heretofore unheard of practice that has caused plenty of internal complaints from people who know better.

How much were you paid to make a fool of yourself on the internet? See Harris's entire career has gone against what the left stands for, and never done anything but hurt the poor. So many other women would do a better job than her, so don't claim you care about women and that's why you support her. It's worse to have an incompetent woman in the public eye, than none. She makes women look bad on every level, and usually speaks to the public like they're 5 years old. So I suggest, either you start learning about people before you shake your pompoms, or simply stay out of politics.

@@0451K you have a gross misunderstanding. The idea is to protect the rights of the majority and the minority via a constitution and laws, not to favor one over the other. A democracy favors majority over minority. In the US we have democratic components, but they are constrained at least in some part via laws and a constitution.

@@Unsensitive The "idea" was principally designed around protecting the interests of the landed elite from the common people, or as it was put by James Madison when outlining the purpose of the Senate: "to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority". The Constitution is an outdated, elitist document that has been a barrier to a truly egalitarian society. Arguments like yours have only ever been used to keep institutions like slavery and segregation alive. We should be rewriting our constitution every generation, as Thomas Jefferson suggested.

@@Unsensitive There are mobs on both sides. They are both dangerous but for different reasons. If Harris wins, Trumps dangerous and childish behavior after the 2020 election is to blame. It’s clear that without that baggage he would soundly defeat Harris. Now it’s a horse race,barring the next big surprise. Whoever wins will almost certainly govern over a country that will have the losing side completely embittered and looking to even the score. It’s pathetic and the more pathetic it gets the more our actual enemies will see an opening to further test our resolve to defend our interests and separate us from our allies.
