I'm an independent from Wisconsin who voted for Biden in 2020. I will say this. You don't turn your back on someone who has done a great job these past 3.5 years. Someone who cares for this country and the American people just because they had a bad night. I'm voting for Biden again.💙

You are right, media is going crazy asking for Biden to drop out, but they have never felt the same with Trump’s threat to democracy, his crimes, or his lies. It’s nauseating.

The Democratic party is not dumping Biden. Party members like Obama, Hakeem Jefferies and Nancy Pelosi said we are staying with Biden. We don't throw out a great President over one off night. Hillary won all three debates and didn't win the election. John Kerry won all the debates with Bush Jr. and still lost the election. Obama didn't do well in his first debate with Mitt Romney and trounced him in the 2nd and 3rd debate and won re-election. Debates are usually for the undecided. Us Dems still have Biden's back!!
When people tell me that they don't like that Biden is the Democrat candidate, I tell them, I may not have liked the man, but I voted for him in 2020 because of the team he could assemble.
And he got us out from a badly mismanaged pandemic. His policies are more Progressive than I thought it would be. I love him for thinking about the next generation and helping the poor to be able to climb up into the middle class. What a great President!!

I’ve noticed the people wanting him to step down are the same people that wanted someone else before the debate. The majority of voters realize how hard Joe is fighting for us. We owe it to him to lift him up and support him 100%.

VPs can be any American. You don’t have to hold office at all prior. But the VP does then serve as the president of the Senate as one of their official duties. Basically the presiding officer.
VP doesn’t need to have held office, but does need to be natural born u.s. citizen; be at least 35 years old; be a permanent resident in the US for at least 14 years

He had actually been flying to other countries along with campaigning. He had a cold that night and took some cold medication. How does one debate a perpetual liar and a convicted felon as the President. He answered all the questions and let us know what his policies are for his second term. Convict 45 couldn't answer one question without resorting to threats and lies. I'm sure they gave him a little of this or that to calm down his insanity. The next day, Biden gave a great speech in NC while Trump looked like he died and went to hell at his rally talking gibberish about sharks, batteries and Hannibal Lector.

I strongly agree Biden will get re-elected and then step down and let Kamala take over. I am totally fine with that as an outcome. I don't know that she has enough of a following here in the US to get elected on her own even though she would be great as President but she could easily step into the role. I've always had the feeling that Biden will resign with 2yrs left, if there is DEM house majority. The VP is second in line and the house speaker is 3rd. So, if Biden resigns, essentially, the speaker of the house becomes VP in terms of next in line to act as Pres.
