40:10 Most of Iran's political, military and business leadership including the Supreme Leader of Iran are Azeri, so I wouldn't be counting on Azeri separation much, if anything there is a good chance for Independent Azerbaijan to one day cease to exist as Aliyev family has not exactly done right by its people and Azeri youth despise them. On a separate point, I find it really fascinating that your love for US hegemony has clouded your vision and judgment to interpret everyones' actions from that angle only. Could it be that most of these problems including issues between Georgia and Russia, Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict and the bubbling conflicts in Central Asia comes from US's imperial stands? food for thought. Any ways, there is no way that US will take over Central Asia while China is on the rise.

47:16 mate, normalization of relations with Saudi Kingdom would not have been possible without a guarantee that Iran will not have nuke without Saudi's also have nukes. Do you understand what are you saying? there are two possible scenarios, (1) A strategic has been made to extent Russian-Chinese nuclear umbrella to Iran & Saudis, OR unlike (B) Iran and Saudi will both acquire nukes with help of Russia/China. One way or another both of them will have nuclear deterrent because of US, Israel and Pakistan.

44:17 well it says something about your "analysis" when you get something as clear cut as Armenia - Azerbaijan wrong. For your information Armenia signed an agreement in Moscow (not long after this interview) recognising Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, a deal brokered by Putin.
