The first presidential debate happens Thursday night and this is what i expect we will get from our two glorious candidates. #election2024 #biden2024 #trump2024 #joebiden #donaldtrump
Your cult is a lot smaller than you think. A lot more than half of the people who will be voting for dear leader in November are only doing so because they feel the alternative is worse.
@@rabidgoon But the alternative is much worse. Maybe you do not like these people, but maybe you can take a look at what they represent and vote for that?
@@Nobody-df4is if I was absolutely forced to pick one of these two, I would stick with the one that’s currently in office because I am doing pretty well right now and while I am fairly confident that I would do pretty well under trump, i see no real reason to change course and risk an economic climate in which i could possibly do worse.
@@rabidgoon Ah, that's sad. In another post you said you would pick Trump. But whatever you do, and I'm going to repeat myself. The world is not just revolving around you. It is about your community. It is about your state. It is about your country and it is ultimately about the world. Remember that everything that happens there affects you too. You shouldn't look at what benefits you on the short term. I think you are smarter than that. Actually, I thought, because of your criticism of politics you had some real good insight, but it turns out you only care about yourself in the short term. The exact same criticism you have of your politicians. That's sad.
You are seriously missing the bigger picture. Unfortunate. Good thing gen Z has brain capacity to see the big picture. Gen Z supports America first all the way.
Gen Z is heavily Liberal and does not want fascism. They see DJT as who he is, a con man who has never been successful. It's an act. He is nothing like the persona on the Apprentice. He is not smart. They see Biden as experienced and he generally wants what they want for all Americans. Lots of smart kids who don't buy into the division.
@@theeternalinquirer5462 the ‘97 - ‘06 crowd is extremely based. Didn’t grow up with new technology, but started getting it when they were actually able to not let the tech make them brain dead from a young age. (Obviously there are outliers) anyone through ‘13 a bit less so but there are still many that can see what’s going on. There is a new voting block headed toward the right in the very near future
@@rabidgoon Trump won 2020. Do you really think Biden got 81million votes? They stole votes for Hillary in 2016 too. She didn't win the popular vote either. 2/3 of the country will vote for Trump. There's a reason you only have a handful of subscribers. You don't know what you're talking about.
You are missing the point; people are not voting for either of these candidates. When most people vote it is for a political philosophy. Free market capitalism vs communalism. The vessel is irrelevant.
Absolutely. But the vessel is kind of important. Because it propels the philosophy. If you understand his or her motivation you can make a better prediction of what you are going to get.
Neither candidate supports free market capitalism, and neither candidate supports communism. Both of these candidates support a heavily manipulated economy that favors the extremely wealthy. The only difference is where and on what they spend the government monopoly money and how they squeeze it out of the poor and working class.
@@rabidgoon All I know is my taxes will go up under the dems and stay the same under the reps. More money in the private sector supports capitalism. If you do not see a difference, then I guess a vote is a waste of time.
@@rabidgoon I'm just wondering. Your criticism is that politics are a joke. And I'm not saying you are wrong. You're right. It is a joke. But then what is it that you propose than? How could we change it? I mean, calling it a joke is not constructive criticism.
@@Nobody-df4is I used to think it was possible that it could change, but I no longer feel that way. It’s a lost cause. There is no hope in the matter and I have chosen to no longer waste any mental energy on the thought that the American political situation will ever get any better than it is now. in fact, I am wholly confident that it will only get worse.
1:54 And here you have it. Do you notice the difference? One is liked and the other one is not. I understand you do not like either of them, but I do think being liked is what constitutes a 'good leader'. But you're right. The political landscape is a joke. In short, the reason for that is that common people don't have time to do a full analysis of candidates. They're preoccupied with their own life and not everyone has the expertise to judge these politicians on their right value. So, most will vote for simplistic reasons. It is what it is. Again, Trump might not be the smartest guy, but he's smarter than the other guy. And most certainly more honest. It's about choosing good over evil. And why do I say good over evil? Here is what I think. Trump is a business man. He understands that if you are doing good, he's doing good. He want MAGA. It is not rocket science. Joey on the other hand sees you have wealth and he wants to take, take and take. He doesn't care about anybody but himself.
@@rabidgoon Okay, you are making a caricature now. But yes, maybe Taco Bell is not good for you, but it has some merit, because some people do seem to like it. The world does not revolve around you. Joey on the other hand, NOBODY likes. Nobody. See my point here?
@@Nobody-df4is plenty of people seem to like him well enough that he is just about tied in the polling. The main difference I see is that Democrats have not formed a cult of personality around him like the Republicans have around Trump. And personally, I find that to be a negative mark for trump rather than a positive one. It’s weird and off-putting to see politicians treated like religious icons.
@@rabidgoon I see what you mean. And cult of personality we should steer clear from. It does seem like a cult people cheering for Trump. And nobody likes Biden. So it seems absent. But here is the thing. You have been tricked. I shall try to explain it here to you now. This cult of personality around Trump has been created by the Dems! His slogan was MAGA. Make America Great Again. The Dems tried to depict Biden as funny old grandpa. There is a cult of personality about Biden too. It is just more hidden. (Ow, and they played with that Dark Brandon concept too a little bit. Remember that?) However, it is based on lies. Orange man is not bad and Biden is not a funny old grandpa with funny anecdotes.
@@rabidgoon Ow, yt is interfering again. But basically what I was trying to convey is that you are being tricked. I would argue that this cult of personality around Trump is created by the Dems. Not by republicans perse.
And some of us will day things like "biden discussed the outcomes of voting for him in thr courts and policy while trump called him names" and we wont be another vapid, im too cool for politics even though I discuss politics, type of guy.
@@rabidgoon "save society" weird way of putting it. My action wont save society but with enough other people we can avoid a decline in society caused by another failed administration under donald trump. Again. The "too cool for politics" move is worthless, youre just admitting you have no voice or interest in the society you live in.
@@bertthompson4748 because i won’t vote for your garbage candidate who has done nothing for me? Lol. Run better candidates and i will vote for your party, simple as that. You’re free to cry and moan about it in the meantime, though.
@@rabidgoon nothing for you? Except for the infrastructure bill which created jobs without raising inflation. Or the release of oil from the strategic stockpile which drove down fuel prices by $.4 and is being refilled when oil has dropped in price. An action which made the government billions. Or the inflation reduction act that has, and is continuing to, lower prescription drug costs by capping it. Or the chips act which is investing in microchip manufacturing to stop Chinas monopoly The only thing Biden hasnt solved is the border because Trump stopped republicans supporting his bills and even then Biden has used his executive power to cap asylum claims. So how is he garbage when everything i listed creates jobs and makes living easier on americans and boosts the economy without boosting inflation?
@@bertthompson4748none of those things matter to me at all. But since you’re being so annoying about it, I do care about politics now. And I will be voting for Donald Trump just to make you mad here in my swing state of Pennsylvania. Great work, champ.
