Israel’s military strategy depended on Iran behaving and responding irrationally, but they haven’t so far. Every attack by Iran has been a response, a legitimate retaliatory strike in full compliance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. The USA is therefore reluctant to get involved.

Biden not having a firm hand with the Israelis may very well cost dems the election. I suspect Kamala is completely apathetic about this entire situation and her campaign is on cruise control. We’ll see how things play out in the next month, but many Muslim Americans could likely decide to not go out to vote at all because of these injustices.
