You now have a video on bifida ferment and galactomyce ferment. Can we get a deep dive on saccharomyces ferment or other types of ferment typically used in skincare? What are the difference between them? Thanks😊
I have tried four or more bifida serums, but Manyo Bifida Biome Complex Ampule works the best for my mature dry/dehydrated skin and rosacea induced sensitivity.
I use the Numbuzin no. 3 Skin Softening serum and I love it. Next I might try the Manyo product, as Alice (down the rabbit hole), absolutely loves this....
I’m the other way around - I’ve been using and loving the bodies biome one for about a month now but next bottle I think I’ll try the the Numbuzin to see the difference with having the galactomyses in there too.
@@emmagal14 the manyo feels good on my skin, I’m 44, still prone to some breakouts when my skin is unhappy. I keep thinking that my skin is no longer dry but I actually think I’m still dry just now I don’t get dehydrated very often anymore. I put down the overall improvement to this serum the ti’am vita b5 toner and the Mary and May blackberry cream and Abib sleeping pack. I use other actives but if I’m sick or travelling I can just use those and a sunscreen and i feel it holds all the progress I’ve been making.
Kelly You have to be patient with this ingredient, because you don't see or feel the results in a short time, the problem is that in the West we look for quick solutions and in the East the philosophy is different, although we must not forget that Korea is one of the countries where the most cosmetic surgeries are performed, but they do take great care of their skin 😘
This is the first time I’ve heard an excellent and understandable explanation of how this ingredient can benefit skin Thank you for the recommendations also!
I'm currently using the Ma:nyo Bifida ampoule, I find it really hydrating and has a fast absorpency, a good fit as I live in a hot, humid climate. Since I have dry skin, there are times that I wish it could be more moisturizing, lol. Anw, thanks Kelly! Would def try the ampoule from Isntree next!
I have used the Missha First Treatment Essence 5x. I used it in conjunction with Mary & May Blackberry serum. This essence is phenomenal! I wish when I has purchased it I had bought more then one. It's out of my routine now and I notice it.
Thanks for the great review! I've recently added the Isntree Bifida Ampule to my evening routine before my Azelaic acid and Retinaldehyde products to give added protection to my really sensitive rosacea prone skin and it seems to be working (along with switching to Prequel Gleanser)
I love Bifida ferment, I liked the Manyo serum and face mist with Bifida, and the numbizin 3 serum so far. I remember the missha first essence was one of the first K beauty products I used a few years ago when it was really popular. I tried the Isntree one as well, which was great. The Neogen one is the only one I have yet to try so will look at that next :)
Very good, informative video. I went on a binge and bought all the products you mentioned in this vlog but did not know what their main differences/benefits were until now. Thanks!
I’d just like to thank you so much for helping my skin and helping with my confidence, but also thank you for making sure everyone has a good chance at getting these products, no matter where people live. It’s very much appreciated ❤
What a timely video - I recently fell in love with Pyunkang Yul's acne spot treatment, and it's just soothing ingredients and copper tripeptide as far as I can see, so I was curious to try a similar combo in serum form (not that PYul is using ferments, I also just want to play with ferments lol). Thanks as always for the ingredient lists!
As always, another amazing video jam-packed with helpful information! You’re awesome 🥰 (FYI - I know Argireline is a bit tricky to pronounce, but this is the correct way to say it phonetically: “are-jeer-uh-lean”)
I picked up the Ma:nyo Bifida Ampoule Mist recently. I probably won't use it until summer, but I'm looking forward to see what it does. I have used a lot of benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin in the last couple of years, as well as now tretinoin, so I think my microbiome could use some help. 😅
Keep in mind that it doesn't actually contain any probiotics. It's extremely false the way they phrase it. It only contains postbiotics. It's a bacterial/yest byproduct that is great for your skin, but it's not a probiotic at all and it will not grow a beneficial biome on your skin.
THAT MIST IS A YEAR ROUND HOLY GRAIL FOR ME! Used it while I was hospitalized for a week and my skin really stabilized and didn’t freak out at all! I’m super dry and sensitive and that mist is my skin savior! (And propolis and krave great barrier relief)😊
Let me try again... Calling these products probiotics is misleading. They're postbiotics. It's the result of bacterial/yeast action, it doesn't actually contain any microbiome organisms.

KELLY 🎉💕✨ always excited to see and learn from your videos! BIFIDA IS MY FAVE INGREDIENT. So glad you gave the isntree ampoule some love, it’s so hydrating! 🌊QUICK QUESTION: Have you found much of a difference between the isntree and manyo ampoules? Did you do a this or that of them? Thank you so much for sharing with us and being you ☺️
I definitely tried to highlight the differences in the video, the Manyo texture is much lighter than Isntree. I find Isntree best for strengthening skin, Manyo shines for firming/plumping skin. Both work to give a healthy glow.
Isntree TW bifida ampoule - I have oily skin and I like to use it in my PM routine as last serum step to seal all the previous serums in. I am on bottle no 3. I would not use it during the day when I plan to go out. But I have used it in AM routine as well, when I know I will be staying home. :) Especially during winter, when air humidity is very low, I enjoy it even in AM routine.
@@shehanadain747 you can use it in the same routine with acids. Acids go on skin first though. Comedones - I do not know, but some sites that show comedogenic risk, show this one as 0 risk.
I love Instree TW-Real Ampoule and the eye cream from the same line. They are amazing. I prefer to use them in colder months since they are a bit richer in texture. I am currently finishing my cosrx peptide booster and can't wait to try Missha first essence ( I try to develop a habit of finishing products before starting new ones). I think that overall fermented ingredients work nice for my skin.
Kelly, I noticed you seem to tolerate the Ascorbic acid in the Neogen serum? I've been extremely sensitive to pure vitamin C and couldn't even tolerate the 8 % alternative from Ordinary without breaking out - but one serum that actually works for my sensitive skin is the All Day Vitamin Pure C 5.5 Glow from Jumiso! So happy to have finally found a vitamin C serum, and wanted to recommend it :)
Kelly 💗 thank you for another incredible video ❤ I have been using the Neogen ESSENCE for over a year consistently and LOVE it- does it have the same fermented ingredient profile as the serum? I’d love to pair the Neogen essence and try the manyo WITH it to get both the bifida and the galactomyces 🙏🏻💗
Hi kelly... I was wondering if you had any recommendations for dry skin moisturiser that is deeply hydrating and moisturising enough to the point i can skip hydrating toner/essence/serum 🤔🤔 Im trying to simplify my skincare routine since I'm on tretinoin atm.. Thank you ❤
I bought the Isntree TW-Real Bifida and need some guidance on how to use it in my skincare routine. A Google search mentioned not to use with Vitamin C or Retinol. Can anyone share how the incorporate Bifida and with which products? Thanks in advance 😊
Where is SKIN 1004 Probio-Cica? Its my fav, it’s definitiv a way better then numbuzin and manyo which I have had too and I wasn’t really impacted.. they did nothing for my skin
Hey Kelly I am new to your channel...I wanted to know if Bifida Ferment is good for teenagers? I am quite new to this ingredient so for some confirmation I wanted to know that if it's good for age like 16+ to 17+
Benton, Iunik and Mixsoon are missing.. Wish they could have been included as well to have a better comparison among all the bifida, galactomyces products
Hey! So the point of view of this video is my favorite bifida products, not a comparison of options on the market. I personally don't like the Benton fermentation essence (although it's probably changed since I last tried it), never tried Mixsoon and I'm not familiar with any product from Iunik containing Bifida. I always speak from my personal experience and opinions when trying products and try to recommend what I think is worth it. You can check out my This or That series (already 33 episodes out) where I do more of the comparison type of review I think you are seeking.
It can cause irritation, just don't layer in the same routine. The information is split and there isn't solid evidence either way. I can say I've used tretinoin and vitamin C together and it irritated my skin!
BTW Kelly I love your channel but you should really mention that some products contain strong irritants (like Isntree containing cinnamon and oregano). Your brand is sensitive skin and us sensitive skin people trust your recommendations and get burned sometimes
Hey! I do the best I can with common irritants, with plant extracts it's really hard to isolate each one and mention it may or may not irritate skin. I also don't want to slow down the video too much. This is why I include the ingredient cards for each product, that way folks with particular sensitivities can pause the video and scan for the ingredients they want to avoid.
You should try again the Benton Fermentation Essence. It’s been reformulated! They removed the irritant which was like a pepper ingredient and also added peptides. It has both galactomyces and Bifida. 💚🌈💚🌈
Currently have the numbuzin no. 3 serum and the Missha Enriched Essence! Once I get closer to finishing up the numbuzin I want to try the Manyo 😊 I remember walking into a Missha store in Korea back in 2017 to buy the 5x time revolution essence as a dupe for SK-II, and having the sales associate be so convincing I left with their peeling gel and a serum too 😂 I think I was too young to appreciate it then, but I love Missha now!
Manyo gave me a reaction (maybe it’s the algin), numbuzin irritated my skin, and I want to try the Isntree but scared because of the cinnamon 😢 All I want is a product with a lottt of bifida to repair my skin barrier 🥹
@@khouloudkasmi5946 but it doesn’t have bifida ferment lysate, it has bifida extract which is unclear🤷♀️ (even emailed them and they wouldn’t explain)
