But I swear I’ll never understand the lifestyle these dudes out here tryin to live. So much talent and so much money to be had legitimately, but still bangin and killin each other. Just so sad to see. Won’t say wish everybody could get along because life just ain’t that way…but kill each other with the pen, not the guns, and we can all enjoy years of entertainment from these dudes.

I don't care how long ago it was. People seem to forget that Jeezy put out a bounty on Gucci's chain, might as well have been on his head, and did not mince words, it was very clear what Jeezy was potentially trying to put in motion. Pookie and them may or may not have been directly tied to jeezy, but whether they knew jeezy personally or not, they were acting upon his statements/orders. It wasn't an ambiguous statement by jeezy, and he didn't just say it publicly once, he did on multiple occasions. He basically put out a "Calling All Goons" APB. Pookie and them set gucci up with some girl, so it was proven to be premeditated and planned, and tried to kill gucci. We shouldn't disrespect the dead but this is/was a bit more of a complicated situation than that. So I don't begrudge Gucci for saying something about it if pushed. At this point it's not like he's bragging about it regularly in songs anymore. But the fact still remains that the guy literally home invaded Gucci and tried to take his life, OVER A DAMN CHAIN and Gucci legitimately defended himself. I probably wouldn't let that go either.
