BIG and POSABLE | Golden Dragon Lloyd MOC | 71774 Alternate Build 

I have never been so happy to have bought the golden dragon set a few days ago. I’m not even 10 seconds in and I’m sold. This MOC is fantastic

All the new joint parts that came out this year are amazing. They add so much more flexibility, literally.

...I love this build. It's inspiring how you've implemented the new pieces in for mecha-building! Man, now I wish that if LEGO does resurrect Bionicle or Hero Factory, they can take pointers from here and blend Constraction figures with System parts!

That gotta be one of the best new knee articulations I've seen. Great use of the new piece. I wonder if by inverting it you could get a more natural thigh swivle. Anyways, great alternate build.

For those who don't have this set, making a mini one is just as easy. By using the frame Chubbybots uses for his small mechs, namely The Red Hero's frame, all you need is some gold pieces to make it look nice and golden minifig-scale katanas for the wings. Or you could use Lloyd's oni head instead if you have the set but don't want to disassemble it.

The Mech looks so solid like gunpla models, much better than the original set. Could you make an alternative build (a huge mech or creature (it's up to you)) using 2 or more of these sets 71711, 71796, 71720, 70653, 71707, 71742,70676, 71722. I will be very thankful to you and buy an instruction. I like Mechs but don't have enough time to build my owns because of the job, so it will be very nice of you making a wonderful Mech using these sets.

To make an actual minifigure version if you just get a golden Lloyd and put jays golden dragon helmet and his wings and it looks pretty good

The dragon power absorption thing doesn't actually need to happen, he has a dragon form already he just hasn't used it.
