Love your Speedy 35. Especially that this was your baby bag!!!! I think as long as a bag is big enough to carry everything you need you can use it for whatever you want! ❤
I have the same year speedy 35. Same date code 844. Just got it last month in June, 3 days after my birthday from a random lady I met in a store. 30 minutes after meeting her she gave it to me along with an MK bag. Both bags in great shape. The speedy was inside of the dust bag. She said she had it sitting in her garage for a long time wanting to give it to someone deserving and she picked me. What a fabulous birthday gift from a stranger. ❤
The Speedy 35 was my very first LV purchase in 2007. It was my wish bag since the 80s. I bought it from the boutique for my 47th birthday. I still have it and still use it. It’s held up very nicely and still looks great. I polish the lock every few years. Mine has been shoved under plane seats and used in every type of weather. Although I don’t use it often when I do it’s like visiting an old friend. Love it so much I bought the same size in DE several years ago. It’s a classic for sure and will be in my collection till the end. I’m happy to see your appreciation for the vintage LVS.

Hi! Typically yes, on anything over $800. But I’ve been lucky in not having customs fees on anything purchased through eBay authentication from Japan, because it goes to their location first and they resend it to me. At least that’s my experience!
