What a mix, class overalls, new holland cap, and operating a jcb fasttrac.. with what looks like a (geen and red) Class baler.. hence the title..brill and very educational vid..
Great to see the inner workings chap - Great to see your emphasis on safety. I had to rescue a work colleague from a round bailer once, a messy business. Thankfully he survived, but his arm was a mess.
Brilliant and informative video George - my there’s some moving parts in that bailer!! You can’t beat a spot of true maintenance to ensure a reliable machine.
Really enjoy this type of vid. For people like. Me wo have nver farmed it's really interesting how everything works... There is a lot. More to it than I emagained. Many thanks👍👍👍
Awesome video young man! Really interesting to see how the machine works. I suspect the four people that thumbed the video down are just jealous because they didn't think of doing a video like this before you!
Loads of ways to loose body parts and fingers, but by god it make you wonder how someone came up with the idea of all the bits and workings to make a bale.
George what's your personal opinion about the Claas baler compared to the Krone 1290 big baler which one do you believe does the better job either in hay or silage?
I enjoyed that George, thanks👍 still gave me he gebbies though, even with the self stick in there... I've heard to many storied in the ag and arb would of missing people! Is it hydraulic assist start? Didn't seem to take much grunt to spin it up.
They are not very forgiving, make a mistake and it'll be your last one. No hydraulic start, just doesn't take too much when it's empty. Different story when it's full, takes a lot of revs to get it spinning.
Agreed, anything with an engine will happily give you an arse kicking! Ahh right, didn't think it had hydraulic start. I was half looking into a 4band baler but was told I needed a good 160+hp to power one. Dunno what my hp is but standard it's 125hp but she's tweaked
When you see all the moving parts on one of those balers it just reinforces the warnings that you should not work around the intake when the baler is running because a person is treated just the same as the hay or straw if you get yourself caught in the intake when it is running.
@@GeorgeSaunders I can see how it links the pre stuffer to the plunger. In the video it makes the forks travel half the way when the plunger is in the back and the chamber is closed. But the cylinder does not extend or retract. Extending it can make the stuffer only do half strokes?
