Do you dip your lures in any attractant? I’m new to fishing. I’m sure I’m making a lot of mistakes but can’t catch anything I’m in so cal too. Getting super frustrating
We don’t dip our lures, but we get them with sent. Check out keitech, megabass & hookup baits, those are the ones we have had the most success with. What areas are you fishing? Maybe we can give you some tips or spots to check out. When we started we had to grind to figure out how/where to catch the fish.
@@belowaveragefishing4771 for sure man I’ll check em out. I’m in San Fernando valley and have been going to balboa lake, not catching anything. Tried Santa Ana dam, tried Laguna lake, legg lake. Nada bro. Been using night crawlers., power bait garlic scent. Started to lure with Rapala ( small trout lookin lures) it really bugs me that everyone around me is able to catch and I don’t get crap ha
@@robert039 we only have some experience in lake Balboa, but power bait is only good in freshly stocked trout lakes. Sometimes the fish are more active at sunrise or sunset, and walk around the lake till you find some structure or fish busting out of the water. Also try fishing 6-8lb florocarbon line, lake fish are highly pressured so you have to be more finesse:
