We're in the boat with John Southern, catching huge bass on Laurel River Lake! John tells us that fishing Laurel is an exercise in patience, and then proceeds to catch a 5.12 Largemouth and 4.14 Smallmouth on back to back cast.

Always fish with an old timer whenever you get the chance. You'll probably get skunked lol but it'll be an experience of a lifetime.

I think the new boats with all the technology takes away from the experience, just my opinion though anyway you do it that gets you out there and involved is best! :) I like small aluminum boat or even a canoe.
