Hey Molly. I've recently taken into the acrylic pouring world and am super captivated by your videos! I had a question regarding your paint choices and combinations. Do you sell your mixture ratios in your digital course and do you mix most of those colours yourself? That seems to be the area I'm currently struggling in is finding the right consistency. Not sure if you'll see this or not, but keep up the amazing work :)
Hi Molly, recently started watching-working up the courage and knowledge to try this! They do make full sleeve gloves-look under Veterinary products-also have them on Amazon😊Happy Painting! Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge & creative with us!
This is so much more painterly than many earlier works. I feel I can see the artist thoughts at work, it's more than just tilts and whirls and pours and swipes. Is it the negative space? Maybe...or... more directly thinking about composition and not so much about cells. Personally I'm not sold on a shiny or glossy finish. I'd love to see some mixed media...maybe try flash paints as a ground that will dry a rich deep flat color, and experiment on top of it. On the whole this looks like a promising direction because it doesn't look like every other poor painting. Excited to see where this idea takes you next!
Hey Molly✨.... One thing for sure is that you never do things by halves and your glass is always half full.....never half empty ! I'm with Rinske and the others who agree that this is not 'plain' ..........It is Sublime art from beginning to end ! It is brave and exciting every step of the way........when you tackle these giant canvasses it proves you must have a 'Viking Shield Maiden' somewhere in your ancestry 🔥🤘 'Oftentimes, it is not the numbers that win the victory, but those that charge forward with the most vigor' - A viking quote for self-belief #HappyPainting Stay Safe as Always ☮🌟🧡 🌻 🌠
Dear Molly , I know you like more happening in your paintings , but believe me , this one is one of the best you ever created, the simplicity just strikes, it is beautifuuuuuul ❤
These are my favorite colors and I love the negative space. I think it’s absolutely perfect to bring a calming vibe to a places. I think this is my favorite pairing of yours.
This is absolutely beautiful! Reminds me of open water with a island of white sand, the shallow light blue water around it, then the shallow waters and deeper water colors blending as you get to the deeper waters it turns the darker blue. Makes me homesick for Florida sun and salt water. Love it! ❤
This one is so beautiful! I think a line here or there of gold would add something to it. But either way it would be something I could stare at for hours! My favorite piece so far. Thanks for sharing!
Stunning and a ‘2 for 1’! Seen from a distance it’s serenity, but when your drawn closer you find beauty and intricacy in the gorgeous lacing. Love it, thanks for sharing 😊
Molly, OMG, this is absolutely beautiful. I love it. I love blues. Just wow. And I personally don’t keep a lot of negative space. I do believe you can get plastic ‘sleeves’ that have elastic on both ends if you really want to cover your arms.
I LOVE this one!! I personally really like the amount of neg space, I think it is simple and elegant. My personal opinion is it should hang the other way....but that's just me, I love it no matter what direction! Can't wait to see the second one! Happy painting Molly!! 💙
This looks like a fun and beautiful technique, Molly; one I should try since I have a habit of putting too many swipes and swirls on my pillow paint, often ending up with a confused mess. I think this one is awesome and can't wait to see the next one.
In most of my techniques i use amsterdam brand acrylic paint and water, ratio of about 40% - 50% water. Check out my youtube channel, I have lots of free tutorials! Thanks! Check out my video on how I mix my paints for a paint and water painting: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xB2mNhmJ1A8.html It has changed a bit over the years but this is what I have for now.
Very beautiful and serene. It would be perfect for a mental health Dr's clinic or anywhere a calming abstract painting could bring comfort. Amazon sells elbow and shoulder length gloves. Most of the gloves were 12" in length but I didn't search very long. The shoulder length gloves are labeled for working with carcases could work when tilting. (Now we know what to use when disposing of the bodies. 🤣)
Wow I love the negative space in this one! It gave me a feeling of calm and peace when I saw it dry on your wall. I get what you were saying about it not being your taste, you Are the Queen of Swipes! Your swiping technique is awesome and I can't wait to see Part 2! Thanks for the inspiration!
