Maaaate.....I hope "Lincoln Lawns' are going to step up to the plate!!! Children sure do make it all worth while and your little girl is a real star. On the name I happen to like Independence and think the name 'Nanji Independence' has a great ring to it. You two work so hard, do such a great job and deserve the fruits of your labour, I really hope they are plentiful.
On the one hand, it is sad to see the last owner's broken dreams.... but your excitement and dreams for the future 😊 cannot wait to see her splashed, finger's crossed!!!
Thank you for thanking us subscribers!! so many channels thank their patrons but not subscribers!!for every 100,000 subs, they get a nice check but fail to mention it.if I could afford to be a patron I would!! Great work on Independence!! She’s a beautiful vessel and you two will make her pristine in no time!!keep up the great work!! Fair winds ⛵️
Everything looks great… I am sure you will have to do a fair amount of work on the teak deck to find the leaks and a major project .You all have done a tremendous amount of work and I am sure you will appreciate splashing your vessel… keep the faith and resources will continue to flow to help you on your way….
Hello Legends! I am frothing out seeing the prelude to getting Independence (Nandji 2.0) splashed. Such a great effort to get you all to this point. Watching Tulla bug help Mom wash the stuff was so sweet! Thanks for sharing! Yew!
Guess its good to have discovered the leaks now. Boat is looking beautiful and excited to see it on the water where it deserves to be. Well done Nandji family.
Aww, I have to wait till next week to see the boat sink,,,,,uh,,,,, I mean FLOAT. With just a little more work she's going to be a beauty and a lovely family home.
Way to go you cute little Frothers. You continue to bust a gut to get your boat to go into the water. It's been challenging because the complexity of Independence compared to Nandji seems to have jumped by a factor of four. Lots to think about but you two with some support from Tula seem to have things well in hand. Keep up the good work.
I've seen you do a lot of boat work on Nanji - but it's like you've been given your 'independence' with all the new elbow room you have now. Is that even still a boat? Can't wait. to see the smiles under sail! - I need to think of y'all as legit 'yachties now!
Great boat. Bob Perry: Nice hull shape! Nice interior! Perfect size! Hope those teak decks will not going to hunt you in the future! Can't wait to see her in the water.
You will love the Maxwell windlass and the support from the company is fantastic. I have the 2200 on my Hylas paired to a 85lb Mantus. Change the gypsy and you can move to G4 chain over BBB which is both stronger and lighter. Boat is looking great!
If hard yakka and no whining is the key to success - then you will succeed big time. This was a big job on a short timeline and you guys just got on with it and crushed it - well done. Enormous effort and I look forward to watching when all the well deserved and richly-earned fun times roll around.
Well done! I would not have it any other way than to follow my favorite family! I can watch anything I want but your channel in my mind is the standard by which all others are judged! Simply the best in every way! Good to find the leaks on land. Much easier to fix there! Oh my heart skipped a beat seeing that cradle comming! Can't wait to see her floating!
Oh my Lord! What an impressive job by the Independence crew! Yosh, Bonita and Tallula congratulation on your new home. She’s a stunningly beautiful yacht that will serve many years in the Froth Lyfe! No more steep ladders either. Cheers to much stronger legs and a sweet happy family!
It’s amazing to see you guys working so hard. Don’t ever let it get you down….. All of your subscribers and patrons enjoy watching the progress you are making and can’t wait to see the finished home. I really can’t wait to see how she handles!
All your hard work coming together, excited for you to splash and get your independence back! Love the way Tallulah is getting stuck into boat work with both of you, she's a star.
This is SO exciting for u & us this anticipation for the big ‘splash’ 😁 Talulla helping Mummy with the cleaning was SO cute & her vocabulary is improving! Good luck gorgeous family!! 🤗❤️👶🇦🇺🍻
Your boat is looking awesome thanks to all your hard work.Very happy for you folks and wish you many years of happiness on Independence . All the very best and stay safe. :-)
Nice new tender there, hope the splash goes well, Independance is looking fine after all your very hard work, I love how serious Teleulah is about the washing.
You two are working hard for your family, its great to see you doing well. That's going to be a lovely boat. Dont get overwhelmed by all the work you got plans for, you'll get there, one step at a time. You got a CO2 extinguisher in the boat?
having dealt with teak decks for 36 years on a 57 foot boat there is 2 ways to deal with them , remove the teak and do a proper glass over or replace the teak with proper 3/4 in quarter sawn but that will cost a Kings Ransom these days , those thin strip teak decks are a nightmare , Killer cool Highfield !!!!! and love the new ship !
Teak decks will probably need to be lifted sadly. Once there of an age to start leaking.. well .. take them up and fix all the issue which you find (hidden old holes)
Josh - chasing leaks - we have not long tried to address a similar frustration of a leaky yacht. Lesson learned - best to assume anywhere there is a deck penetration - bolts, fitting, hatch - assume that all the sealant has died.( guarantee this will be the case) every single fitting will need to be rebedded, re sealed, - we did it in stages - get yourself a sponsor from "fixtech" or similar - you will be using crates of sealant. Love your efforts and sense of humour - all those things come in handy.
