B=10 is set higher up, and A is simply set if the number being currently set is higher (?), but depending on what this Sort routine is given, I would think if the input is already sorted and nothing gets swapped, then A will either be 0 (most programming languages default) or "NAN" (not a number)... Then again, I've had a long day, and as I said I have not programmed a sort lately....
