In this video I travelled an hour and a half or so to get to the Maribyrnong River which can hold some great quality fish but in this case I had only a handful of bites and a couple of smaller sized bream. The next day I travelled about 15 minutes to the local location to try and catch a bream which was a success even though I have generally always struggled at. This goes to show that you don't always have to travel far to find the fish, as they can be right on your doorstep.
Having limited lures and plastics has forced me to fish a way in which I would not normally do as I have usually struggled with plastics for bream. Accidentally limiting the gear I have sucks but is now giving me a chance to learn new techniques to fishing which in the long run is going to give me more range on how to chase bream.
