I don’t think Derrick was a manipulator. He had an excellent social and talkative game. He knew the right things to say to still make them like him. Backstabbing friends? It’s a game, he’s not gonna hold their hand and let them win.
Zach - “Victoria thinks she is in summer camp” Dr.Will - “You guys are in the jury house. You’re in summer camp. Victoria is playing Big Brother” Zach - Yikes 😂😂😂😂
THAT His Big Move Logan or GETTING Caleb Out if Caleb WAS IN FINAL 3 HE Would Have won the Game IM Glad Caleb didn't win I Hated Him if Frankie and Nicole was final 2 who Would Have won Nicole Won bb18 2 Years Later
When they were talking about Victoria, I agree with Zach one hundred percent. Why would any of them consider voting for Victoria? Nobody voted her out because she pretty much didn't do ANYTHING.
It's because how good Derrick's game was. The only reason why Jacosta was bitter was because Derrick fliped that vote literally minutes before the voting, so he didnt have time to work her when she went out the door. Derrick such a beast
I wish they showed more jury moments like their expressions when Frankie walked in. I loved how much awkward silence there was when christine showed up.
Jocasta wtf it wasn't even fake praying. Derrick said in his live chat he was just praying cuz of his grandfather and he never promised Jocasta anything about that.
Uhhh Kkkk that is right I watched both seasons Dr will was in competing and he didn’t win a Single comp and is still one of the best players in big brother history
Frankie, you telling Nicole to put Caleb on the block is NOT a word. To tell is a verb, and everyone who has a brain knows that a verb describes an ACTION. Get it right. If you're going to have an argument, at least base it off of valid information.
He was trying to save himself tho, it was smart... he was doing what anyone else did! It’s kinda obvious that he was going up bc Nicole hates him after him evicting Hayden so he had to do that! Later on Tho he proved to Caleb he could be trusted and saved him multiple times and yet Caleb still sent him home! Bad move by Caleb and also get ur facts straight
This is faulty logic. No shit talking or telling someone something is an action, but that’s not what the saying is talking about. It’s saying that what you do is more important than what you say. He told Nicole to do one thing, but everything he DID in terms of nominations, who he evicted, etc is different
They aren't giving Victoria enough credit. That girl single-handedly evicted Zach's favorite hat from the house. And that was the greatest eviction I've ever seen! No one saw that twist coming. xD
Jacosta what are you even talking about? Derrick was a good guy, he was sincere and he deserved to win. Being in the Big Brother house means you have to lie and manipulate but I don't think he was a huge backstabber. He did stay faithful to Cody after all.
He stayed faithful to Cody since he knew Cody couldn't beat him. He was a tougher opponent than say Victoria, but he was still no threat to him. If Cody had like a 50% shot to beat him in a jury vote like say Frankie, I guarantee you he isn't so loyal to Cody anymore.
The thing is both him and Derrick have both stated no matter what they were taking each other to final 2 regardless. Cody knew he was probaly going to lose but he felt like Derrick deserved to be with him
Everyone says this jury wasn’t bitter, but y’all realize that the Victoria deal is like the epitome of bitterness right? Like, anyone who would have voted for Victoria just because Cody went against a stupid deal would have to be ~insanely~ bitter
I thought this was scripted to make this predictable win "suspenseful" but Donny and Jocasta weren't playing... They really voted for Cody? What? Come onnn..
i think he meant that he was basically just talking and not actually doing anything. like he was saying put him on the block but wasn’t actually doing it if that makes sense
The fact that they couldn’t think of a big game move is his biggest game move, he kept a low profile all season by not doing anything to attract attention, his game moves were hundreds of small moves that kept him under the radar and he never made himself the most talked about name in the house that week. His game move was always being portrayed as the number two guy when he was running the house from the getgo
We've gotta ditch this whole "if you're in the final 3, you must be good at the game" It is possible to be so bad at this game that people view you as irrelevant and bring you along as a placeholder houseguest. That doesn't make you good at the game. Sure it's a strategy one could use to get to the end, but that does NOT make you a good player
I hate when people give the argument "she wouldnt be there if she didnt do something right". Its such a load of crap. When people are in the endgame alot of the time they try to bring someone who is objectively bad at the game to the end for an easy win. Being terrible at the game and being recognized for it is not an accomplishment, its luck. Bad people at the game usually get knocked out pre jury but if there is enough bad player 1 or 2 will make it. Victoria was lucky that she was bad and made it farther than the other bad players to get carried to final 3. She did not contribute anything to why she got there.
i don’t really think the jury in bb18 was that bitter. natalie was bitter, but michele was bitter towards nicole, so they cancel out. but da’vonne was a huge advocate for nicole’s game, corey was nicole’s showmance, paulie was more closely aligned with nicole by the time of his eviction, and zakiya was his showmance
@@nizzle428 No one should be bitter in the 1st place. DaVonne was conflicted on voting for Paul or not cause he wasn't a good guy when that's not what then game is about. Paulie should have voted for the person he thought played best, not his bff. Zakeah should have followed her own mentality. BB14 as far as I remember started this bitter jury and it's a shame BB hasn't addressed this. I would personally be all for 75% Just Vote along with a 25% vote from Big Brother Legends every year. We would get to see legends again even if it's only for finale and they would impact the game in that way.
KEllisTalks well in every jury segment, da’vonne talked about how good of a game nicole is playing and that she has her vote so i think she was more conflicting if paul was against james. and a vote for your ally isn’t necessarily bitter as paulie was voting more so for nicole rather than against paul. was the jury openly voting against paul instead of for josh in bb19, yes but i wouldn’t say they were in bb18
@@nizzle428 Didn't mean to say Paulie was voting bitterly. I'm just saying vote for the person who played the best. Not your bff. Yes DaVonne voted more so for Nicole playing well but she still questioned to her self that there's two sides to Paul. The player and the person.
People say if I was on the show i wouldn't be a bitter jury member but that's the thing you weren't on the show so you don't know what it feels like too be evicted so you can't really say that
Victoria won a BoB and a Veto BoB - with help , we all know if it’s a solo comp then im sure she’d have no chance of winning. Veto - Caleb chose 5,000 over the veto Did Victoria deserve to win that season if she had sat in one of those 2 chairs ? Absolutely not
lmao that would be hilarious tbh. Especially if the other houseguests are like Derrick, Amanda Zuckerman, Vanessa from bb17, Rachel, Elissa Slater, Helen, etc.
Lol I loved that part. But it's true though if you think about it. You don't do something with someone that's personal like religion and have it be fake.
I think it’s would be nice to see Cody, Frankie, Christine, Donny, Jocasta & Brittany again for an All-Stars season (if they did it!) with Zach as an alternative.
They couldn't name Derrick's best move but voted for him anyway. Let's be serious here. Don't get me wrong I like Derrick and I think he deserved to win but I think Cody did too. I just think if they really thought Derrick deserved the win they could have at least come up with one of his best moves but everyone was quiet about it.
no and they could have showed the others joining the jury on the Friday episode, when they were showing unseen footage -.-. i feel like i missed something and the finale was rushed
Danielle robbed herself. She went to F3 with two people she could never win against- Jason and Lisa. She even said herself "the only person left I beat is Ami". And who does she evict at F4 after admitting that? Oh yeah Ami.
If I got on big brother I would not show my strength I would act dumb af and bad at comps so everyone will be like i will beast her, then for the final hoh to get in final two I would show my true self
loved Derrick as a player.. He was really nice to everyone never caused conflict or fought with anyone.Which might be the Big reason I feel he was never put on the block. best was he and Cody were true to each other to the very end.. There is nothing that angers me more then people promising they will take someone to final two and then go back on their word.. This rwo person alliance proves it can be done, and if you stay true that person even if one of you does not make it to final two if you dont back stab there is a person voting for you to win. And honestly I think they took zach, frankie and caleb as far as they possibly could to insure that they stayed true to those boys but gave themselves the best advantage that they both could make it to the end.. If they were with one of the other boys other then Victoria the chances of them both being at the end would have gone down. Played an honest and clean game. Perfect
I honestly think that Derrick and Paul in season 19 were pretty similar in how they played and how much they did. However, Derrick won because the jury decided to put their emotions aside, but everyone in bb19 just absolutely hated Paul.
@@IG-hs6or Paul couldn’t manage and jury and Paul did a lot of things that weren’t necessary he could’ve just shipped Jess and Cody out the door he didn’t need to bully them the whole time. Also Paul didn’t own up to his game he still continued to lie and manipulate even after the person was evicted Derrick didn’t do that and Derrick owned up to his game.
Funny how everyone was mad that Frankie confirmed the alliance to Nicole after Zach exposed it when Nicole was already on her way out and all they had left to worry about was Donny and Victoria (who was the floater they could rely on.) Especially for the fact that Frankie was willing to put Caleb on the block when his entire alliance was willing to get rid of him after they got rid of his "girlfriend"
The thing about Cody’s game was that he played a winning game, it just so happened that they’re was a better player this season in Derrick. Had it be any other season e.g. the season Cody returned, he would win playing the exact same way
You can’t say that you wouldn’t vote someone out cause they won’t win and then turn around and vote them to win. I wish some people would just put their bitterness aside and vote the deserving the winner. Not voting someone to win cause your bitter doesn’t give you the win, and believe it or not it won’t make you feel better. Cause after the game you would still be arguing about how both of you lost.
Zach was one of the funniest houseguests in the whole series! I'm still stuck on him calling nicole a fruit loop ding gus! And when i see the first episode every season i bet on who is gonna win. I always lose BUT i knew it was gonna be Derrick this season! I've only been right about Derrick and kasey from season 20
I predicted Hayden for season 12. I knew from the first episode. I also predicted Tyler. I was surprised that both got so far because to me it was so obvious.
Then annoying part is that people were gonna vote Victoria to win, when she should have been voted out at the beginning. If playing dumb was her strategy why did we hear nothing about it in confessions.
