Phuket has a lot more to offer than its infamous night life.
Drive a little on this beautiful island and you will be astonished at the beauty of the scenery all around.
A little drive up the mountain here and you will be met by the Big Buddha statue that is still under construction but a must visit nonetheless.
Zen atmosphere, very calming and relaxing and free vegetarian food.
Walk inside and you can be blessed by a monk and also get a nifty bracelet that is sure leave some everlasting memories.

I wen't to the Big Buddha in Phuket less than a week ago. It was just amazing. Recommend it for a visit.

Been to phuket. And big buddha is a must visit place. The view from the top was amazing. Its was also spiritual to visit the place

the best thing is swimming in Karon beach, then turn around and look up and see the big white buddha on top of the green hills. So serene

The statue is of Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. He was a prince of one of many kingdoms in ancient India and lived around more than 25000 years ago. His teaching is of 4 noble truths and every living beings have capacity to reach enlightenment..

tanah yang aku duduk ni...teras dia kat bawah tanah ni... statues dia macam ni...itu Masjid Madina punya verify...bukan statues macam temple Showa...Nabi korang tak support aku buat tattoo macam ni...kalau nak buat buat yang macam muka Asura, Oni , mara dan sewaktu dengannya...yang penting nampak macam neraka...sebab aku orang Islam...dia ade side effects dia...Nabi kau jer tahu reason dia.
