sounds good. last year in NorCal NASA I was one of two 350zs and of course I was a beginner so my car wasn't built. last month that the first event of the season there were three race teams running them so the car is making a comeback in this region.
I just got done building my HR, JWT c8/rz2 cams JWT Beehive springs/valve/ retainers Z1 ported upper and lower plenum, 2.5” Stillen cai 11.1 Wiseco pistons Brian Crower Rods ISR Long tube headers and Y pipe Tomei catback Boundary billet oil pulp gear Whole timing re done A lot of extra little goodies here and there, basically only thing I kept was the crank.. going to dyno tune it this Thursday with Martin from RS ENTHALPY. I’ve seen every 350z video on RU-vid, yours and Sasha’s are the best ones and good inspiration to me. Thanks a lot and best of luck.
My last vid on my channel started to show the engine tear down that is occurring now for improvements. At about the 5 minute mark you can see some of the clearancing required for the 13mm lift cams. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Fym5pi78Dfk.html
do you think you'll be out to GB to do a shakedown? hope to see you there. got my own Z 305s squared finally, along with the other bits and bobs. cheers!
Ah, the perfect car for putting around town. Actually, I'm hoping to turn my build into a barely street-legal road going version of this. I think I'm basically there now, I'm just shopping for seats to replace the heavy leather ones that let me slide around.
Depends if you want a mild cam that just drops in or if you are prepared for some custom grinding to make them fit. My last video of the year down shows some of the grinding required to make these fit
Depends what you want from the car. Staying NA ? Going FI ? Road/Track ? Race ? All different goals, with different cams. (for ex, my car is mainly track day fun, na - so I have JWT C8's, it's a reasonable match)
