Hiya, Patrick. Early in the morning, with my coffee, heavy raining outside in Seoul, I watch your new video. I recently realized that my tephrocactus geometricus was slowly dying because of my bad habit to watering(I've watered it too frequently). I was so sad and disappointed to myself that I didn't anything about plant thing. Today, I feel much more better because of your new video. Sik-Mung time to heal myself.. Thank you a lot, my friend. ❤
Awww I'm so sorry to hear about your tephrocactus! Don't be too hard on yourself! Everything is a learning experience and if you want to take a break from tending to plants, it's OK too! Thank you so much for watching Ruya!!! Big virtual hugs!! 🙌🏽💚🌿🌵💕🤗
Awww thank you so much Nancy! I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos! That means so much to me! Houseplants are fun!!! I hope I can show you one that will get you to give them a try 🤪🌿 Thanks for watching Nancy! I appreciate you! 🤗💚🌿🌵
Patrick! I got my first paphiopedilum last year and I've been enjoying the foliage all year long. When I learned that they're really slow growers and only bloom every two years, I got another one this season so that one will always be in bloom 🙈 ...but even if they didn't bloom... those leaves!!! The reticulation!!!
So beautiful! That’s a great idea to get 1 a year for two years 😅 I had no idea that they only flower every two years! That’s good to know thanks for sharing that bit of info!!
I used to spend so much at Armstrong's when I lived in Big Bear. I shopped at their Claremont location. They carry a great selection of perennials and evergreens too. And birdbaths and fountains to drool for.
I have to say that I look forward to every one of your videos. I need to take a trip to Pasadena now and I need a pitcher plant lol so many are on my list
Oooh awesome!!! If you're looking for a pitcher plant definitely go to the next carnivorous plant sale at the Sherman botanical garden in Corona del Mar on June 19th and 20th! I'm going and I''m so excited for it! Thanks so much for watching my videos!!! It really means a lot to me!!! 🙌🏽🥰
No problem! That sounds so exciting . Thanks for the info. I owe my new love for Rosales nursery to you too lol I now go there because of your videos. I bought a couple spiralis cactuses, ferns and a few other things from them lol but my wish list is so long and it seems like every time I go there, they have something else I need. Plant addiction is the best kind lol
I want a hoya bella so much, but I can’t seem to find one at my local big box stores or popular nurseries. I don’t want to order one online, so I’ll keep looking. Those orchids are so beautiful 😍. 💚💚💚
This store seems expensive, 9,99 for one small four leaf pubicalix? 🤷🏼♀️ I went to a privately owned cactus greenhouse this weekend and found a booby cactus there! They are super rare in The Netherlands, so I'm happy to have it! We had so much fun looking at all the cool cacti:) Also, my Hoya bella is blooming all over the place! It's getting way too big to try and water in the shower, kind of impractical 😂 Thank you for another video! I live listening to you talking about plants😊
OMG Alicia! I'm sorry I didn't say this earlier! Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm so glad you are experiencing the hoya bella superbloom too 😅😂 it brings me much joy so I hope you're enjoying it! They do grow fast so I can only imagine how big yours is! Thanks again! ☺💚🥰
Oooh, those synandenium grantii 'Rubra' at 6:30 are great! fyi - they're Euphorbiacae plants (like crown of thorns, obesa, poinsettia, etc.), so careful with the sap! They are beautifully colored in the sun; mine gets maybe 80% of the day's sun with afternoon protection. Facing East/SE. The sun creates wonderful lime-green and Burgundy striations, while deeper shade keeps the leaves lime green w no stripes. wah-wah... Will become house-sized trees over decades! Mine is at least 5 yrs old and almost touching the second floor. Good thing the cuttings are so easy to take. Just keep in dry shade in vermiculite. :-)
btw thanks for these vids. if it weren't for you I'd never remember to check out the local Armstrong locations. seems like everywhere else is having a plant shortage these days! sucks!
Awww!!! Thank you Erik!!! Woah!!! They look so much cooler when they mature a bit! How cool! I am loving euphorbiaceae so much lately! I’m so glad you pointed those out to me, otherwise I would have never known! Loving those sun stressed striations (I googled! Spectacular!) Thanks so much for watching! It’s my pleasure making these videos! Many many thanks! I appreciate you! 🙌🏽🌿🌵👌🏽
This is my favorite Armstrong! But I haven’t been at the one in Torrance that you said it was a good one too. I go to to the Pasadena one so much just cause it’s so close to me!
I’d say Pasadena is a close second! If you’re in the area though I do recommend Torrance! A friend of mine found a platycerium grande there for $19! 😮👌🏽
The one in Glendora sucks but the one in Claremont is better & nicer employees I never find anything at Monrovia looks like I need to venture to Pasadena
@@Patadendron I’ve been liking Glendora Nursery & nice employees 👍🏼👍🏼 I won’t be going back to Glendora’s Armstrong I’ve given them more then I should have! I’m about costumer service (mainly just be friendly) I’m not talking stalker help just be nice!
