Not only was I happy that they were able to feature Usagi but the 2012 show's version was also far more faithful to the comics

saw some of the new Usagi Chronicles footage online. It really does feel like this series. Not just the cgi part, but even the comic like panels and camera angles in fights. They even have 2D art to show the past. The new Netflix series is a Usagi series but mostly feels like it's based on Space Usagi where they tell the story of his descendant in the far future, but living in the "Neo" Edo period, which reminds me of Big Hero 6's San Fransokyo. Myiamoto Usagi still has his original designs but his descendant will have a different look.
