A little advice from me is it grows faster when you cut all the damaged ends off, do not try to leave some length it'll only hurt the new growth coming in. And also braids and wigs will go a long way in helping too.
I thought I would cry during my big chop too but it wasn’t bad, you realize how awful the dead ends are and it’s super relieving to get them off. Good luck girl, it’ll grow back in no time
It was aggy you still tried to keep length, just cut it, your roots are beautiful and curly having short hair is not ugly. Having short, curly and healthy hair better than long and damaged.
I cut my hair off about 7 months ago and everybody loved it and the length and everything and now sooo many people I know are cutting off their hair left and right and I’m glad I was able to help the natural hair trend progress🤗 yay me!!😆

You have beautiful hair! I can now see your curl pattern now that you’ve chopped off all of that damage from what looked like permed hair. I commend you for bravely chopping so much at once. I chopped off only 5 inches and had a total meltdown!!! So glad I did because now my hair looks a lot healthier. Now that I’ve seen you chop all off your damage at once, I’m gonna chop off the last 3 inches of stringy hair to make sure all of my damage is gone. Thanks for inspiring me!!!!!

Short hair is never ugly. Ladies my beautiful melanin ladies! Do not allow society or people convince you that short hair is ugly. Long hair does not make you beautiful or popping. Short hair gives charachter, it makes you feel new and it builds confidence. You can be the prettiest girl with long hair with an ugly attitude and horrible personality. It’s not even that sometimes......sometimes people’s hair get like that because of blow dryer and iron. I’ve gotten my once bleached hair pressed & trimmed two times a year. I thought pressing hair 1-3 yr was alright but now my hair looked like I got a perm. I never gotten a perm in over five years, so I’m wondering why it looks permed. 😓🤷🏽♀️

I used to keep my hair short when I was younger pixies and short styles they actually look better on me. I am going to cut my hair within the next few days
I haven't put the relaxer in my hair in couple of months. I put the just for me relaxer in my hair, broke my hair off, had to get it cut. (Not to short though). They changed the ingredients and it had taken for ever to wash the relaxer out. So I went back and use the ultra sheen relaxer and of course they change the ingredients in the shampoo that washesout the relaxer. It had taken me a while to wash the relaxer out of my hair. I'm like forget it, whatever they are putting in the relaxer is to strong for my hair. I'm going old school by using ultra sheen hair conditioner grease, luster's pink oil moisturizer hair lotion and murrays pomade in the orange can.
