In fact literally Chip passed as Norm Alguy for weeks if not months, remember that all Chipped Off takes place in the course of season 3, but in the end as you say the psychopathy and the monotony of what "normal people" have to live ended up breaking him mentally and now that he is back to his old self he is worse than ever
This was very likely the closest episode where Chip Whistler at least tried to redeem himself and go back to normal, but he realized he wasn't happy this way and his reflection convinced him to go back to his old ways, and still won't accept his wrongdoings The only thing he accepted was his chipped tooth.
I think Chip’s revenge plan begins with him become the new mayor of Big City. Only by becoming mayor would be likely lift his own banishment and get revenge of everyone else.
If chip wanted be a mayor he wouldn’t be in sewers because it’s not good place to start become big guy, and his reputation is totally low like -20. His dad actually depressed (you know why: if your son is psycho and he is dead).

For years I used to see Chip Whistler as Disney channel's version of Sideshow Bob. Both are maniacs with a large ego that want to make a child suffer for humiliating them. They also have their own running gag of getting hurt the same way over and over again (Chip breaks his tooth and Bob steps on a garden rake). But, there are a few differences that separate Chip and Bob: Bob sees his rivarly with Bart Simpson as an epic duel and feels the need to grant his opponent a last request (like sing the entire score of the HMS Pinafore) or a honorable end. There were times in which he could kill Bart and be done with it, but couldn't do the deed as it was too easy. There is also a part of him that knows what he is doing is wrong and doesn't want to be the bad guy. Chip on the other hand, is a bratty, twisted vengeful monster who apparently is even okay with murder as that would make him feel alive and happy. Also, Bob tried to change his ways by running away to Italy and starting a family, but the Simpsons unintentionally revealed his criminal past, ruined his life and returned him to his criminal ways. In Chip's case the Greens did nothing to him. He returned to villainy on his own.
Your quite right. At this point Chip is even more dangerous than Sideshow Bob and maybe as dangerous as Plankton in the movie. I’m pretty sure even Bob would disapprove of Chip.

Chip Whistler is easily the greatest Disney cartoon vilain of all time, and one of the greatest villains ever. I've never felt excited to see where one's villain arc takes them quite like with Chip.

Chip is one of the most pure evil characters in Disney, he’s different from belos, he’s worse: belos/Philip only ever had one goal in mind (“be the hero that got rid of evil witches”) but chip was given several opportunities to stop, to just forget (greens offered him friendship before, he could have just become wholesome food ceo and get on with his life and now he could have become “norm”) but he chose revenge in the end not because he thinks it’s the right thing (even himself thinks he’s a monster) but because it’s what makes him happy, he knows that it’s wrong but it became his life’s purpose, belos simply didn’t WANT redemption because he didn’t think he needed (he honestly thought he was doing the right thing), chip CANNOT ACCEPT redemption because it wouldn’t make him happy (he KNOWS he’s doing the bad thing but he wants it anyway)

I see Chip as more of a mentally ill man than a typical 'disney villian'. There is something wrong with him that he can't control. You can see he actually tried to be 'Norm' but this scene feels like a metaphor for when you can't mask illnesses anymore. I'm not an expert of types of disorders but to me this seems like a paranoid personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, borderline personality disorder
@@drybones5924 In fact Chip has survived some of the most devastating defeats getting hit by billboards, falling from a building, getting hit in the face multiple times, running into a wall, having a statue fall on him and finally now he’s returned, survived a freaking helicopter crash!! I’m starting to think he’s the Disney Channel version of William Afton.
Am I the only one wondering where Chip’s dad is during all this? Surely he’d like to know his son is alive and still plotting against a small farm family for revenge.

Speaking about Chip's return... I had to think a lot about it, but I wasn't sure for a while. Then today Disney confirmed that a S5 has been greenlighted for this show... and that pretty much settled it out: I'm stopping at Chip's Revenge (that's the title of the episode in which I suppose Chip Whistler will make his last stand). I'm sorry but I can't follow this show forever, and I'm not in good terms with Disney, and sticking to them even for just one show just makes me mad. So I will just finish the rest of Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur and I'll watch BCG until Chip's Revenge (which is supposed to be episode 21 of S4) and I'm done.

Premise: This series, which serves as a crossover between Big City Greens and Courage the Cowardly Dog, tells the story of the Greens. Both country people and city people. And boy are they in for a treat! They cross paths between Eustace and Muriel Bagge and their pet Courage, a pink beagle with paranoia problems. Ever since that day, the Greens and their newfound friends go on bizarre (and somewhat scary) adventures as they meet old and new friends and battle old and new enemies.
OK, one thing is obvious Chip has lost his mind not only easy living in the sewer with rats now he’s gotten mad and plans to what destroy all of big city. Don’t see how a psychotic sewer dweller is supposed to do that he’s got no money no manpower unless he plans to recruit his old henchman. I don’t think two people actually will count to help them to annihilate all of big city.

When i seen this new episode somewhere around November of last year i seen chip and i was like y'all chip is back this means war again and now its round 2 but i hope that chip could just take the time to understand what he has done to the greens especially in season 2 but we will make it through this together with the greens on our side 😀😀

I wouldn’t be surprised if Chip is that woman with the pink hair in a space suit in disguise in the movie. If she’s reveled to be the villain first, another twist of Chip being revealed would eventually be showed, just like Judge Doom and Turbo/King Candy. I hope he says “Remember me Green’s!? When my helicopter crashed, you and everyone else thought I was dead! But I’m back from the dead baby for revenge to make sure you and everyone in Big City is dead from a asteroid!
well it got a green light for season 5. TBH I'm hoping it will be the last season only because I don't it to loose the spark that makes it a great show.
